Season 5 of NASCAR Trucks has been a success. Grids not quite the regular 14-16 truck fields we wanted but the racing has been good. I will be running Season 6 after Season 5 and here are a number of points and topics I want to raise.

~Same truck, same specs all around.

~Pocono will likely return, in place of an Indy race probably. Indy I'd like to keep as the showpiece finale.

~SSRX will still have two events. However the 7 lap race will be replaced by Duel 120 kilometre events, half points offered for both of them.

~Motegi will most likely lose it's 65 lap Sprint event and be replaced by a same length event on my 1.5 mile Toscana Las Vegas oval.

~Also thinking of offering a pole point for all races.

~Cautions and GWC procedures will stay. Pace speed may be revised slightly however.

Thoughts? Furi.

Pace speed 100 mph (160KPH) at all tracks

Waaay too much. At Motegi 50 is ideal as it allows the lucky dog driver to get back with the field.

Daytona currently 75 IIRC. Probably 50 for Indy, Motegi, Pocono, Vegas.

After testing last night, Spa may just very well be on the schedule next season. A note that cautions and GWC's would still apply.

We'd have just the 1 caution lap for Spa, and green into Eau Rouge on Lap 1.

Pocono, Vegas, and Spa to be in then.

Or perhaps Motegi West as a short track?

Spa was OK but Furi's arse end was all over the show. Its actually not that bad really but you have to tread very carefully.

Pocono gets my vote, its a good track for Trucks, and if that was Vegas we ran last night then thats OK too.

NC: Budweiser Shootout @ Daytona (40 laps)
01: NextEra Energy Resources 250 @ Daytona (100 laps)
02: Camping World 100 @ Motegi Superspeedway (65 Laps)
03: Gatorade 150 Duels @ SS Route X (2x 5 laps)
04: Goodyear 100 @ Motegi West (68 laps or 100 laps)
05: American Ethanol 100 @ Pocono (83 laps)
06: TOTAL 100 @ Spa (20 laps)
07: NASCAR Japan 150 @ Motegi Superspeedway (100 laps)
08: PDI Line 300k @ SSRX (10 laps)
09: Chevrolet Silverado SS 200 @ Daytona Superspeedway (80 laps)

You do know that's 150km, not miles...

One race at Indy, and three races at SSRX? Week 3 should be Indy, and Week 8 should be the twin 150 races at SSRX. That would be two races at each track.

Indeed I do 👍

The Duel Events are half points each, so overall only one lot of points will be awarded. Indianapolis stays as the showcase finale.

Cape Inside might go in. Even then, don't want more than two road courses really. Consider Cape a reserve.

Still preferring Motegi over Cape Inside. At least for this season.

Update.

Since the whole James deal has passed, I'm currently looking in racing this again Furi.

Hey Furi, I might be late to the party but there is this awesome Short track I made the other day I think would be perfect for Trucks. Only problem is the lack of pits, but we can just have a couple of races like SSRX
