Rich S
I see the bud shootout is on Friday, what cars/specs do I need?

The Chevy silverado in the ocd, full mods, semi race exhaust, running at 650hp.

ok, I dont think I've ever driven a pickup truck at an oval before, this is going to be crazy!

You guys want to try doing an Indy 500 spot race? (its on the interest check forum).

It's crazy :P , might open a test tonight.

About to draw the grid order for the Bud Shootout!

Who's on pole? Time to find out!

@ Mattys post below, currently put them into a generator, just need to hit ok, also doing race preview with it.

If you just drew it how come you don't post it?

€5 says I'm in last :)

I'm going to set the over/under at "7.5 posts from Furi" before a complete starting lineup is announced and finalized, counting his double posts at #404 and #405. Who wants either side of that action?

GOODYEAR KEYS TO THE RACE

~Fuel Use~
40 laps is manageable, on tyres and fuel... just. But the threat of a Green White Checker finish leaves you having to watch how match fuel you have in the tank...

~Cautions~
Why is the Shootout often somewhat chaotic? Because a 0 stop race leads to nearly everyone having to push for the majority of the race - there's none of the conservation runs of longer races.

~The Right Lane~
Pick your lane - the Inside is usually the place to be, but if a larger group of trucks get hooked up on the outside then that just may be the place to be coming to the finish line!

FULL GRID ORDER:
ROW 1:
01 - NoBull (Winner of the second Daytona race last season after escaping a huge last lap wreck)
02 - MustardAddict (A GTP NASCAR All-Star Race winner on his truck debut)

ROW 2:
03 - Carbonox (One of the fastest drivers in Truck Series, hoping to remove his Daytona curse)
04 - RedPartyHat (Extremely fast and very strategical, in his first race for RPM after moving from Pepsi)

ROW 3:
05 - Furinkazen (The most experience driver in Trucks got his first win at the final event of last season)
06 - JoeOfTheFire (Former GTP NASCAR Truck Series champion on his final race in the series)

ROW 4:
07 - Jammy (Proved his speed with a number of strong qualifying runs last season)
08 - Trynor (Ex GTP NASCAR Nationwide Series champion on his series debut)

ROW 5:
09 - Smuffy (Defending Bud Shootout champion)
10 - Gokartman (Race winner in the GTP NASCAR Truck Series)

ROW 6:
11 - Akmuq (Ex GTP NASCAR Truck Series champion on his return to the series full-time)
12 - Matty (Front runner in the GTP NASCAR Truck Series returning after a season-long absence)

ROW 7:
13 - Spurgy (Defending GTP NASCAR Truck Series champion)

It's a new season of NASCAR Truck Series racing on GTPlanet and we kick off with the 3rd Bud Shootout - this season open to previous race winners, pole sitters, and champions of the GTP NASCAR circuit. 40 laps of action are manageable on one tank of fuel providing the dreaded GWC finish does not make you suffer. No points are available for winning, but you can take pride in proving you are the very best of the best in Silverado's.

The grid order for the Bud Shootout is randomly generated, and indeed this will be the order as the green flag flies at approximately 8pm UK time / 3pm US time tomorrow evening!

With this experience in the field it should be a clean race.........Naaaaa I predict some wrecks.

So i am kind of confused, does that mean there is no qualifying round? I was under the impression that we were going to get a chance to qualify tomorrow.

The shootout is an invite only race, proper season starts next week i'm guessing.

Akmuq has proposed the idea of qualifying for everyone during the week, thoughts? Going to put it up as a poll. Test room up by the way.

Edit uggghhh major poll typo :(
