Here

WTF LITCHI????

Seeing that convinces me it's the geography between us that creates havoc.

Slight quali tweak - to allow last minute quali runs, race room opening is now going to be 7.30pm BST - this allows last ditch efforts until 7.30pm BST.

This test on a Portuguese server 👍

These tests done on an UK server... (main difference is the ping)

Here's my connection speed. Also, 8:00pm BST is 7:00pm GMT which is 2:00pm EDT. Just putting that there for anyone who was wondering about the time conversion.

Not bad 👍

Need a word with Dax about how pacecar works.... for Daytona pace car is required to pull off on the run off area before the pits, allow the WHOLE FIELD through, and then pace car will take the grass along the pit lane, and pull up just behind the barriers on the left of pit exit. When a caution is called, pace car is ready to move, and we'll call to the pacecar who's race leader, and then we form up single file.

Also, 8:00pm BST is 7:00pm GMT which is 2:00pm EDT.

There are 4 time zones you need to know and understand.

GMT or UTC, which is always +0000 offset.
BST is +0100 from GMT during active summer hours in the UK.
EST is -0500 from GMT during non-summer hours for the Eastern US.
EDT is -0400 from GMT during active summer hours for the Eastern US.

So... when the UK is in BST (+0100) and the US is in EDT (-0400), they are still five hours apart.

If you are ever unsure about conversions, feel free to use this:

bare with me, I'm going try a few new router's, and different cable combinations to see if it improves,

does it matter that the speed test was done on the lap top via wireless? would having a wired connection improve things with that too?

I have been told that some router's can improve the connection by a good chunk, but my understanding of my results is they are fair resonable, I guess like you said its the distance in which it has to travel,

Do you test your connection to our servers or your servers?

that test was done to my provider's server, The only server they have in Aus apparently, But they have customers all over, how I wonder what their conection is,

I will test the connection to a U.K server though, Any suggestions?

Except 3 people DC from your room every race.

Who are usually known for commonly DC'ing.

Trynor sent me a PSN message saying he is interested in the Bud Shootout.

That and the room can be commonly on seizure race mode and random lag fest.

Fox and Dax weren't known for DC'ing. Just saying, you're rooms aren't particularly bulletproof...

Dax's internet been going crazy lately - couldn't connect onto him on Skype for issues his end either.

Happily my bandwidth has gone up which should help matters 👍

Those with awesome connection using fixed host will make for the best and most stable room. Just risk the whole room going down with the host.

I rarely DC myself. This week has been because BT seem to have been carrying out changes.. would explain my bandwidth suddenly going up.

your download has gone up, but you really need a good upload to be the host. Well thats what i've always thought anyway.
