Anyone see Kobe's shot on the Heat the other night? That was simply "Amazing". I guess that why they say that lol. I was rooting for the Heat because, well I'm in Phoenix and I LOVE the Suns, but you just can't deny the skills that Kobe has.

My Rockets will go back to work tonight. The Memphis Grizzlies handled the Cleveland Cavaliers in Overtime last night, as I saw this match on NBA TV's Fan Night. My Rockets host Cleveland tonight.

And how about the Nets? They got their first road win at Chicago. Enjoy tonight's games, GTPlanet!

I'm glad my Rockets finally woke the hell up in the second half at Philadelphia. We won 96-91 after stubbing our toes all throughout the first half. Up next... we're playing at Toronto Sunday at Noon (Central Standard Time). So I'll have to alternate between my Texans hosting Seattle and Rockets at Raptors. I hope we can shut down Chris Bosh and his boys this Sunday afternoon...

Rockets lost 101-88 in Toronto. Toronto is a beautiful city, but this was an ugly loss for my Rockets. Ouch.

Back home to host the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.

Last night was extremely intense for my Rockets. A lot of technical fouls and some flagrant fouls were prevalent in last night's game at Dallas. Dirk N. and Carl Landry were both out as Carl's teeth were introduced to Dirk's elbow. I heard even some of Landry's teeth had to be surgically removed from Dirk's elbow. Ouch! We still won even with plenty of Technical Fouls called on Dallas (and a few major fouls on Houston). But we still won 116-108. Tonight, we try and entertain the (no pun intended) electric Oklahoma City Thunder at Toyota Center.

Elsewhere, Boston's 11-game winning streak was snapped by Philadelphia in Boston. Great win by the Sixers.

* You should win the game when up 67-43 at the half, right? Well, Chicago laid an egg after having as much as a 35-point lead. Sacramento beat Chicago 102-98 last night. Epic fail!

* Elsewhere, the Suns took their first home loss when hosting Cleveland. No shame in losing to Cleveland. They lost 109-91 in a game televised on NBA TV.

* I just hope my Rockets can take care of the Clippers tonight, then try to take down the Orlando Magic tomorrow night. The Aussie David Andersen will be sidelined with an ankle injury (up to 2 weeks).

Enjoy tonight's games!

We got our bums beat at Orlando. It was at least a 15+ point beat down. I think the Magic won 104-87. Rockets kept it close, but close is not good enough.

Merry Christmas to all of you! No better way to spend Christmas than... watching NBA basketball, of course! Unless, you get tired of seeing "A Christmas Story" for the fourth time. One match is a great one, and the others... okay.

Today's Games (in order from start time)
* Heat at Knicks
* Celtics at Magic
* Cavaliers at Lakers <<< GAME OF THE DAY, in my view
* Clippers at Suns
* Nuggets at Trailblazers

Enjoy today's games!

I didn't know that Minnesota was a Western Conference team. But, enjoy the first games of 2010!

Tough back-to-back coming up for my Rockets. At the Lakers tonight, then at the Suns the night after. The Rockets' losing streak may extend to three games if they bomb both matches.

Enjoy tonight's games, NBA fans!

The Raptors beat the Magic, I'm watching the game in six now vs the Spurs, since we never get Raptors games aired on TV. Bosh is an awesome player, he leads the NBA in double-doubles.:D He's in the top 10 for numerous other stats too, including scoring.:) He's also now the Raptors' highest scoring player ever, edging out Vince Carter. I also found out there are 4 Aussies in the NBA, not 2 like I thought.:)
Australia / David Andersen / Rockets
Australia / Andrew Bogut / Bucks
Australia / Nathan Jawai / Timberwolves
Australia / Patrick Mills / Blazers

If the Lakers and Cavaliers play in the NBA Finals, the Cavs would have home-court advantages after the Lakers lost at Cleveland last night.

My Rockets will go back to work tonight at San Antonio. After that, there are a lot of home games for my Rockets. Three against weaker teams followed by some tough opposition. This is a chance for my Rockets to keep a good thing going. My Rockets haven't played since Monday. My boys should be well-rested now.

The Raptors just had a huge win over the Lakers.:dopey: By 1pt too!:lol:

...meanwhile, my Rockets are sliding. We lost to Chicago, Atlanta, and Denver... AT HOME! We will have failed four games in a row if we stumble to Portland Friday night. Not a good home stand by my Rockets.

No that's not a good run at all, hope it picks up for you.👍

My Rockets lost at home to Philadelphia, but that's nowhere near the Nets' epic fail of a season. They are now 4-46 with a loss at Detroit. Assuming it's an 81 or 82-game season... how many wins do you think the Nets will get when this season is over?

Sorry for the double post, but being a Raptor fan I think it's great to see Toronto are on fire lately, they're 9-3 in the last 12 games, including that win over the Lakers. Bosh just came of a massive 36pts, 11rebs and 5 assists against the Kings. If only I could play well for my team in my local basketball competition.:( They're 5th in the East now, although the East is nowhere near as good as the West it seems, they would be 9th if they were in the Western conference, with a 54.9% winning percentage.

Looks like the Wizards are struggling without Arenas around eh?

Most of the last regular season matches before the All-Star Break will get underway tonight. Here are some of the matches:

* My Rockets will play at the Miami Heat. The Rockets are 6-9 this season against the Eastern Conference. I hope the Rockets can get back in the playoffs and have a strong finish.

* The NBA Tuesday Fan Game will be Oklahoma City at Portland (which is a pretty good match to me).

* The New Jersey Nets will play at the Cleveland Cavaliers. No, read it again- Nets at Cavaliers. The Nets are 4-46, tied for the worst 50-game stretch in any of the major sports. This should be an easy win for the Cavaliers unless the Cavs just fail to show up.

Wow did anyone watch the Raptors vs the 76ers? Go to the Raptors site and watch the Game in Six yourself if you didn't. Calderon had 3 consecutive successful alley-oop passes in the 2nd quarter, the Raptors were up by some 20pts at the half but the 76ers came back in the 3rd, and with 2mins to go in the 4th they were tied. Bargnani hit a 3, then with the defensive stop at the other end Calderon returns to the offensive with the continuation on a 3pt shot, so he made the very rare 4pt play! Another 2 un-answered field goals before the end and the lead stretched back to 11pts in those last 2mins, final score 104-93. Raptors really are on fire lately, great for a fan such as myself.:D

Good luck to all teams on the road to the NBA Playoffs!

Tracy McGrady is now a Knick, and Carl Landry got traded. It will be interesting to see who all got traded and how they can help their new teams. We got Kevin Martin from the Kings, Jordan Hill, and Jared Jeffries.

BIG Thursday night tonight! It's the Denver Nuggets at the Cleveland Cavaliers. Then in the nightcap, it's the Boston Celtics at the Los Angeles Lakers.

Enjoy tonight's games!

What happened to Tracy McGrady anyway? He was all the rage a couple years back and now he's barely ever mentioned.

Even without Chris Bosh the Raptors have smashed the Nets, and had 7 players score in double figures.

Rockets host the 18-win Indiana Pacers tonight. Then, Who Dat? Rockets at the Hornets tomorrow night.

I'm sorry I haven't been as active in this thread. I am a bit fearful of my Rockets. With less than 30 games to go, I'm not sure if the boys in red will make the postseason at this point. And if we do make it, who's to say we'll make plenty of postseason noise?

Hope your team(s) is/are doing great!
