Hah, apparently the Raptors are trying to talk to Phil Jackson about a potential GM role. I don't think it's even serious much less a possibility, the organisation that owns the Raptors just appointed a new CEO and I think he just wants to be seen as doing something off the bat.
Thunder has just taken a 3-0 lead after Delfino missed a 3 that would have sent it to overtime for Houston.

Insane luck here.

Boston bounce baby.

Funny story about that foul on Westbrook: On youtube video I think brownkid linked, I noted on someone's comment that "Westbrook barely had time to react". Couple of Houston fans proceeded to lecture me that if I actually paid attention to the video, 1) I will see that it was Westbrook initiating the contact and 2) See how Westbrook never called nor was he awarded timeout.

This is why I don't get into debates on youtube, the place is full of retards. In the very video at the top of the youtube page, you see Westbrook gesturing time, hear the ref whistling to award the timeout, then Beverly diving into Westbrook.

I just walked away saying that I guess I'm deaf & blind.

From what I remember, Beverly saw what Westbrook was going to do & proceeded towards him to steal in an attempt to beat Russell from gesturing. Westbrook got his timeout recognized by the ref & he blew the whistle right at the exact time Beverly finally reached Westbrook. And boom.

The 2 teams to ignore over the whole thing are OKC fans who want blood & Rockets fans who know it knocked a significant piece out of the Thunder's lineup. Well, until tonight. Jesus Harden....

Chicago plays Miami next round.

I just want Boston to take at least one game for pride.

I share some sympathy for the Celts because they pretty much reflect the Bulls. Injured, no star PG, a defensive oriented team, and offensively challenged. But still play hard regardless.

Ah. I like Doc & Rondo, but I've never liked Pierce & absolutely HATE Garnett. I think they just need to get out of the way, like with the Lakers.

Yeah, I was thinking the same........ except mine was more like "L.A. officiating + Kobe gotta be good for one game, maybe two."

You should have seen that Bulls game, it was so aggravating.
I've seen enough already. NASCAR & MLB, rembmer?

Seriously, I still can't divorce the 🤬, because I love the game of basketball, and I still love my home team, and so many players in the league.

You and you NASCAR.:P

Even Jimmie Johnson would have pulled his hair out yesterday.

And Boston survives another day! Sucks to see Jaylen Rose have to put his broom away for that one, but I'm sure he'll bring it out again when the Heat take care of things in Wisconsin.:ouch:

Stephen Curry in the 3rd QTR; god damn! Spurs may have an uphill battle against this guy if he plays like this from here on.

Bogut had a good few nice plays in that game as well (posterised Javale for example), go the Aussies!:D In case you hadn't guessed, I'm cheering the Warriors in the West.

My Rockets will need to win four in a row if they want to reach the 2nd Round of the playoffs. It would be sad if the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (Houston's D-League team) could win a championship- like they did this past weekend- while their NBA team is struggling trying to take down the Thunder.

Enjoy some playoff basketball.

So Kirk Hinrich is out, leaving Nate Robinson to start and Marquis Teague as back up. I think Brooklyn may take game 5 if bad Nate comes to balance out good Nate from game 4.

Great to see Bogut back on the court and playing some good basketball. Hopefully he can stay healthy for the duration of the Warriors playoff run. 👍

Well good Nate came out, but unfortunately my prediction was somewhat right. We needed Hinrich to slow down Williams and his offense. Fortunately we have two days to recover and end this in Chicago.

I don't expect Thibs to let his men make game 6 a lost cause.

Who do the Spurs play next? Is it the Warriors? God, you can't count on even Golden State to be easy anymore.

Remember when Golden State had Don Nelson as coach? It's seems just like it was yesterday when those young whippersnappers beat the Mavs in that epic 2007 playoff first round.

But Mark Jackson shows us that Don Nelson didn't know what the Hell he was doing.

For a second, I gave you so much credit, because I thought you were talking about the Run TMC. 2007? I didn't know they made the Playoffs in 2007.

Still alive! We just won 105-103 to avoid being swept by the OKC Thunder. Game 5 in Oklahoma City. Rockets have to win three more times for their srason to continue. Chandler Parsons and Patrick Beverley were huge keeping the Rockets in this one.

I FINALLY found the Playoffs bracket to confirm that Spurs will play either the Warriors or the Nuggets. OKC was a automatic roadblock for the Spurs, they lost Westbrook, so I thought San Antonio might be in the clear(barring injuries), but I forgot about another team that tend to shut down the Spurs: 🤬 Grizzlies.

But Grizzlies don't have Rudy Gay now, surely he's a factor to consider.
