With the way Irving's been lately, we might be seeing The Decision 2.0; Irving needs a team where he can make a solid run into the Playoffs. What do you guys think of the Cavs getting Mike Brown back as head coach? I reckon they might be in strife for doing it, Brown ran Lebron in to the ground, he pissed off Kobe and now they want to jam him back in the mix with Irving? Good luck with that......
Of course Cleveland likes him. He was the coach when it was LeBron who pretty much carried the team through the Playoffs.Brown has good company in Gilbert, and the Cleveland area likes him, unlike LA which always expects success instantaneously (the faults of having soo many titles).
The Rockets played much better, but the same result- we failed. I think we lost 105-101. Game 3 is here in Houston on Saturday. Thunder ahead 2-0.

Report: Cavaliers seek trade for LaMarcus Aldridge
Actually, it's not really a "report". CBS Sportsline's blowing it out of proportion again, but it's interesting.
Patrick Beverley = Linsanity 2.0
Never heard of the guy and he has a double double in his first career start
Did they start him over Lin?
What sort of injury did Westbrook get?
Mensicus tear in his right knee according to the NBA site, out indefinitely.
They were talking Waiters & Thompson both, plus pick(s), but I still don't see it happening. Old LaMarcus Aldridge maybe, but new L.A. plays both inside & out, and that's hot commodity in the NBA.It would depend on what they had to give up, it'd almost certainly be Irving or Waiters (and friends?) and surely that wouldn't fly.
I'm not talking about his intent at all. I'm upset at a player being a complete idiot making a dangerous play during a timeout.Westbrook is right to be angry, but not because there was any intention of Beverly's part to hurt him.
Whistle? Really? It's pretty obvious that was a planned timeout, which Westbrook crossed halfcourt and called it in plenty of time. It of course still doesn't change the fact that he had ZERO chance of making that steal, regardless, unless he thought he was playing in the NFL. And he did that to a player who was totally defenseless. It's not like Westbrook was driving to the basket, or crossing the guy over. He was coasting to a stop.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bH2kv0MfoSU
That whistled happened just as Beverly committed to the steal. It was reckless, sure, but I'm not going to put him to the fire for it.
Bro you're talkin' to a person that grew up watching Rodman kicking cameramen in the balls.
đź‘ŤThat Bulls game...Where to begin?
First off the Refs were just pure garbage with so many questionable calls. It was like they were letting the Nets play hard and tried to hold Chicago down. It was like we played two teams, but it feels great to get the last laugh.
That said, Nate Robinson going Rose was just too epic. Robinson single handedly bailed us out.
Classic NBA. I can't believe I watch more NASCAR & MLB, while I barely follow NBA, but professional wrestling gets old after while. I prefer sports which teams actually affect the outcome, not the league, superfriends alliance, or Vegas. It was like we played two teams
On the money. Beverly knew exactly what he was doing; he says he's tried the play before & will do it again. Naturally, an injury isn't part of the play, but not even apologizing for it.Whistle? Really? It's pretty obvious that was a planned timeout, which Westbrook crossed halfcourt and called it in plenty of time. It of course still doesn't change the fact that he had ZERO chance of making that steal, regardless, unless he thought he was playing in the NFL. Totally boneheaded and a dangerous play. Playing with idiots is bad enough, but it is downright scary to play with idiots who takes risks making dangerous play at other people's expense. I think you've been watching Ron Artest too long! Wiping someone out on a play that doesn't exist is no-go, let alone during stoppage. I'm with Westbrook, if someone pulled that 🤬 on me, I'd be mad(censored word, you know).
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--p...--but-not-apologizing-for-play-060139676.htmlBeverley barely blinked. Bring it on. He can take it. He can take it all. He's sorry Westbrook suffered a torn meniscus on Thursday, but Beverley apologizes for nothing. When Westbrook slowed down to call a timeout in Game 2, Beverley accelerated, lunged for the steal and crashed into Westbrook's knee.
Beverley plays fast and faster, plays forward with the desperation of an unmistakable truth that hangs over him like the basketball reaper: He doesn't want to go back.
"I want to go against Russell Westbrook again and battle him again," Beverley told Yahoo! Sports by phone on Friday evening. "I didn't try to hurt him, but that play was something I've tried in the past, a play that worked against the Suns earlier in the season – and it's a play that I'm going to continue to try again."
