In the 2008 picture is the lead singer from Savage Garden dancing with his Chinese boyfriend. You can't trick me, dude.

Damn I was hoping nobody would notice.:ouch:

EDIT: BAH! Raptors lost to the lowly Celtics at the buzzer in overtime! The Heat blew a sizeable lead late in the 4th to the Pistons. I've lost all hope of the Raptors winning a playoff series this season now.
At least Ben Simmons won his 3rd straight national high school championship.

We lost to the Celtics at the buzzer earlier this season. :crazy:

@Spacegoat - How did your Pelicans do tonight, J-Money? :P

Well I guess it's between Golden State and the Warriors for the championship anyway. (See what I did there?)

Traditionally, finesse teams & run/gun teams consistently flopped in the Playoffs. Golden State however, I hear that their defense has really stepped up?(not seen them once this year lol). I think they are bunch of punks(because I hate anybody not POR or SA, maybe IND), but I'm looking forward to seeing how well they may play under pressure.

Last year, I think they went toe-to-toe against the Clips, but I recall the Clippers getting screwed on couple of calls in crucial minutes(:embarrassed:). I'm sure the Warriors players have grown since then. I'm more interested to see how far the rookie head coach could take this team. Lot of scheming & timeouts in the playoffs, but things happen pretty fast. Untested, but very smart guy, that Steve Kerr. :)
Yeah, it is going to be tight. Both teams have rough schedules the rest of the way.
Do you even care if your team made the Playoffs? OKC would likely be a first round out, guaranteed out by the second round. It's like low lottery pick versus fan morale. Edit: I don't mean any disrespect, it came out kind of harsh.

No disrespect taken. I am split. A lottery pick could be a good addition to the team, as Sam Presti has done a great job finding guys that can be productive players. Though, there is also a question of numbers on adding another player. The Thunder may not realistically have enough playing time to go around for the players they have.

A first round exit could still do the team some good. There are quite a few of their players that have little playoff experience and getting those reps, even in a losing series, could help tremendously in the next couple of years.

This Easter Sunday wasn't a kind one to Brett's Oklahoma City Thunder. In this MVP battle of James Harden and Russell Westbrook, it was Harden's band of merry men who won 115-112 today in Oklahoma City. I saw most of the 2nd half and not much of the 1st half. Still, we knew Oklahoma City was going to scrap like hell to keep their playoff hopes alive. Red Nation still has reason to celebrate on this day. Both Harden and Westbrook went north of 40 points. Harden had 41, and Westbrook had 40.

Happy Easter to all of you, and congratulations to all other winners from this Easter Sunday up to and beyond the time of this post.

Rough game for the Thunder today. They would make strides on closely the gap throughout the game and could not maintain the closure. Houston had too many answers for the Thunder's (lack of) defense. OKC is sorely missing Andre Roberson and Serge Ibaka (and of course KD) at the moment. Those two guys clean up so much on the defensive end for the Thunder.

I can't believe Paul George is playing against the Heat tonight.

Excellent point.
Yep, really is a close race Only one game between them and NOLA own the tiebreaker.
I'm really hoping for some nasty trash talking between you & Brett, but you two are like the two of the nicest people I know on GTPlanet. So boring. :P

I forgot about that. I need my PG avatar back on.

The Spurs-Warriors game was pretty good to watch today. At this time of season, the Spurs always start humming along. Kawhi had 26pts and 7stl in a blowout win. Bogut contributed 10pts and some good D, Baynes contributed 8pts and some good D and some good hustle. Mills scored 2pts in garbage time.
Hoping Exum/Ingles can do a little more scoring before the end of their game to make it worth watching.

Edit: Exum finished with 8pts/6ast, Jingles also with 8pts. Exum had a nice breakaway and-1 dunk which was good to see.
Right now the Kings seem to be proving that signing Sim Bhullar was nothing more than a publicity stunt, he has yet to log a minute in 2 games on what is a totally lost season for Sacramento anyway. Pointless.

Was able to watch the 4th QTR of the Spurs-Warriors game yesterday and I was a bit surprised by the blowout that game was considering GSW is the best team at the moment. '-' And currently I'm a GSW fan until the Lakers go back to their winning ways.

Only one game scheduled for tonight. Yes- ONE. And no, it is NOT Game 7 of the NBA Finals... but it COULD be if these were the two teams that advanced to make the Finals:

* POR Trail Blazers at BKN Nets

Most people would probably watch the NCAA Div. 1 Men's Basketball National Championship game instead (or some other Monday night programming).

More importantly, let's update the "in" list. Who all are in the playoffs heading into tonight's games... I mean, game? Here you go:

(! = playoff berth, !! = won division, !!! = home-court)
(^ = in playoffs)

--- Who's In! - Eastern Conference ---
* Atlanta!!!
* Cleveland!
* Chicago!
* Toronto!!
* Washington!

CURRENT TOP 8: Atlanta^, CLE^, CHI^, TOR^, WSH^, MIL, BKN, BOS

--- Who's In! - Western Conference ---
* Golden State!!!
* Houston!
* Memphis!
* Portland!!
* Los Angeles Clippers!
* San Antonio!

CURRENT TOP 8: Golden State^, HOU^, MEM^, PRO^, LAC^, SA^, DAL, OKC

Time is running out as this is the final full week of regular season NBA basketball. Keep making that push if your team(s) still has a chance to make the playoffs! The Playoffs begin April 18th.

Yep. 106-96, Brooklyn trips up the Trail Blazers. Going from Portland [Oregon] to Brooklyn is about 2,902 miles... and that's a long distance to take a depressing loss. I read that D. Lillard hung 36 on the Nets in the loss. Sorry, a6m5...

Congratulations to all other... oh, wait. It was just one game on tonight. So congrats to the Brooklyn Nets.

We lost, but RoLo made me chuckle. Blazer fans love this dude.

Bogut had a career high 9 blocks today, what a beast!
Baynes and Mills each had 10pts, although one did it efficiently in regular time and the other had 1-6 3pt FG in what was already a blowout..........

If "death comes in threes," we were about as dead as one can get. First off, we failed bad- 110-98 at San Antonio (a6m5 happy dancing). Even before that, we lost D-Mo for the year because of a back injury. The loss by the Rockets followed by a huge win for the Memphis Grizzlies means the Rockets dropped down to #3 in the Western Conference standings. One loss, three ways. Sad day for Red Nation.

Congratulations to everyone who DIDN'T fail tonight.

Solid performances from most Aussies today, and the hapless Raptors blew out the hapless Hornets.

Tonight's games are:

* CHI Bulls at MIA Heat
* POR Trail Blazers at GS Warriors

And here's a quick rundown of current Playoff teams:

(! = playoff team)

EAST TOP 8: Atlanta!, CLE!, TOR!, CHI!, WSH!, MIL, BOS, BKN
WEST TOP 8: Golden State!, MEM!, HOU!, POR!, LAC!, SA!, DAL!, NO

After the Suns' loss at Dallas, the Suns were mathmatically eliminated from the postseason. This is the fifth successive season that the Suns missed the playoffs.
