Is Noah sick or something? This dude used to bring it in the Playoffs every year. Has Gasol's addition affected him?

Other than that, still got another half to go & with the inconsistency both the teams have been playing, could go either way. LeBron though; 10-12FG. Guy is back on his game. Irving somehow managing 4-8 as well despite a foot/knee injury.

Even with Gasol out...Noah just hasn't played the same this playoffs, let alone season.

This is the 2nd time I've read this on the web. I know Gibson got ejected, but what has he done that he's missing Game 6?

I was in the bathroom when it happened, but my brother said he did a Flagrant 2 foul on someone and got ejected. I forgot on which player, but I'm sure ESPN will show it for the highlights of the game. My brother said he got baited, and as much I want to agree with him, Taj does let his emotions get the better of his judgement.

Gasol has to play now. Survival is at stake.

Oh, because of the "kick". That is NOT worth a 1 game suspension. Yes, he got baited, yes he over-reacted. Getting thrown out was punishment enough for what he did, but to make him miss Game 6 is utter nonsense by the league.

On the current game, I love watching Spencer Hawes shoot 3's. He never leaves the ground, just stretches his body outwards.

Where the hell was this offense by the Rockets in Games 3 and 4? Regardless, it's one more day for Rockets Nation with a resounding 124-103 victory. Good news- your postseason lasts one more day. Bad news- you got to return to Staples Center on Thursday, where you got clowned on in two successive games there by the Clip Joint. Oh, and you got to win that game to force a Game 7 this Sunday here in Houston and last one more day again.

I think the Rockets needed a wake-up call. To me, when someone makes fun of your mom, then you get trounced on the other team's home floor twice... that's enough to want to beat somebody's backside. Rockets should have had this "Im'ma f:censored: you up" attitude in Games 3 and 4 (and maybe even Game 1 for that matter). Nothing against the Clippers, but Houston can play much better than what they shown in their losses in this HOU-LAC series.

Elsewhere, congratulations to the Cavaliers on their win at home.

I'll defend my countryman, Dello got hit really hard by Gibson on his somewhat dirty screen, then Gibson pushed Dello to the ground going for the rebound. Dello responded by being cheeky and holding on to Gibson's leg. Though Gibson obviously didn't kick Dello like they're saying, he just tried to kick free. Probably should have been little more than a tech foul on Gibson.
Great to see the Cavs win it though, Matty doing his part is great for me to see.:)

The Bulls are a bunch of mental midgets. If it wasn't for Derrick Rose, they would be trash. Rose is the only guy whose head stays in the game.

Their defense always mentally breaks down in the playoffs, and then that makes their offense waver as they're not very good at playing catch up.

I don't think Thibs has what it takes to get his team to the finals.

The final score on the scoreboard at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA read 119-107 in favor of the Rockets. "Prove me wrong" was the mantra for me as I thought we'd get clowned on and dumped on again. That was true for about... three quarters. Staples Center is quite a House of Horrors for the Rockets whether against the Clippers or the Lakers. The real hero was Josh Smith. J-Smoove was in the groove especially late. Contributions from Trevor Ariza and Corey Brewer made huge dividends for the Rockets pulling away and stunning the crowd in Los Angeles. So, uh... yeah. HOU-LAC is going the seven-game distance to where even I didn't think it would go the full distance.

Game 7 is this Sunday here in Houston. Forty-eight minutes (or maybe more) will determine who'll continue their pursit of the O'Brien Trophy for this season and who will have to try again next season.

Elsewhere...

Cleveland Cavaliers dun' kill't dem' Chicago Bulls 94-73. It's told to be the most points the Bulls have lost by when facing elimination in franchise history. Good news out of this is that this will mean more praise from Paulie on his fellow Aussie mates K. Irving and Dellavedova (or "Dello"). Sorry, sumbrownkid and Bulls Nation, but...

Chicago = "Contender eliminated..."

So Cleveland will get the series winner of ATL-WSH. This was a bittersweet win for Cleveland, though, as Kyrie Irving re-injured his knee in the 2nd Quarter.

That's all. NBA Playoff basketball... got to love it.

The Clippers & Jamal Crawford.

I think Thibs is gonna get fired.

Question is...who's gonna replace him?

Tonight's NBA games are brought to you by the number 6, as in the sixth game in these series. Tonight's lineup...

* ATL Hawks at WSH Wizards (Game 6; ATL leads series 3-2)
* GS Warriors at MEM Grizzlies (Game 6; GS leads series 3-2)

Will it be elimination for one or both teams facing elimination, or will it be one more day and force a Game 7? Both Washington and Memphis could be eliminated tonight unless they pull one out to force a Game 7. Enjoy this Friday "Ball Night" if you'll be checking out tonight's games.

Both Washington and Memphis could have been eliminated... and both WERE eliminated. More heartbreaking by leaps and bounds was Washington's fail because Paul Pierce's would-be Overtime-forcing 3 was overturned. Golden State just hammered Memphis and reassured my fears of my Rockets facing Golden State IF the Rockets defeat the Clippers this Sunday to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Or of course, it could be an all-California Western Conference Finals if my Rockets fail on Sunday.

So in the East, we got a CLE-ATL series; and in the West, it will be a GS-(HOU-LAC winner) series. The Eastern Conference Finals begin this coming Wednesday.

Good news to the winner of the HOU-LAC series: your season continues. [Potential] Bad mews to the winner of the HOU-LAC series: your next opponent is Golden State... AT Golden State on Tuesday. If the Rockets wis this game, they will be the 9th team in NBA history to win any playoff series being down 3-1. The Clippers will seek their first Conference Final in franchise history. And the winner of this game, by a final score of 113-100, and winning from start to finish was...

...the Houston Rockets!

So the Western Conference Final is set: Golden State Warriors vs. the Houston Rockets. With the home crowd, it isn't a fair analogy, but the atmosphere almost reminded me of when we won our first championship in the 1993-1994 season back when the Rockets played at The Summit (now Lakewood Church). I felt all along we could take this series. There were certainly doubts I had about this Game 7 and this series. But thankfully, the Rockets figured out the Clip Joint and took them out. The Clippers honestly don't have anything to be disgusted about. It's not like the Clip Joint are some overrated garbage or anything. This is a strong team that can only get better.

Red Nation, happy dance for now! I hope we can take down Golden State, but my confidence is even lower than with the HOU-LAC series. It was 16 Playoff teams. Now... we're down to four.

The NBA Draft Lottery is coming up tonight. Weaker teams will be looking to get stronger with quality players willing to fill roster spots.

More importantly, tonight is GO TIME! Four teams are now one step closer to playing in the NBA Finals to play for the O'Brien Trophy and become NBA Champions for the 2014-2015 season. We began with 30 teams with the same dream. Sixteen were good enough to have their seasons extended. Eight were better than the lower half of the 16-team field. Four proven to be even better than the others. So now, we have four of the best... or maybe even luckiest teams... with a chance to play in the NBA Finals in June. Two will advance, two others will fall.

It all begins tonight in Oakland as the Western Conference Finals plays out Game 1 when the Houston Rockets meet the Golden State Warriors. This game is the first battle between two top MVP candidates since 1981. Back then, it was Julius Erving vs. Larry Bird. Today, it's James Harden (HOU) vs. Stephen Curry (GS). About the HOU-GS series, I read a stat on ESPN saying that teams that sweep a team 4-0 in the regular season have a 55-6 record if they meet in any level of the NBA Playoffs. As if it already seemed hopeless the Rockets will make much noise in this series, seeing that just makes it even more hopeless for Red Nation to somehow pull this one out.

Then tomorrow night, it's the Eastern Conference Finals as the Cleveland Cavaliers begin their series at the Atlanta Hawks. Cleveland looks for a chance to play for its first NBA Championship, and Atlanta will look for its first championship since moving to Atlanta in 1968 (they were the St. Louis Hawks, winning a championship in 1958(?)). These are also two cities known for being miserable sports cities. So one team could play to reverse a negative trend by reaching the NBA Finals.

Good luck to all remaining teams in this season's playoffs. Enjoy some NBA playoff basketball.

[UPDATE] Draft LOTTERY tonight. Changes made.
