The 2015-2016 season is over for my Houston Rockets after epically playing dead in Golden State. Now my boys will have many moths to sort out their issues after all the s:censored: after this bulls:censored: season. Making the playoffs is an accomplishment, but this team was pathetic this season after going to the Conference Finals last season. This team is MUCH better than what they've shown this season. I hope they get their crap sorted out and put a better effort together next season compared to this hot mess of fail. If people got to be traded, so be it. I just hate the same old song and dance of "you can't win in Houston" as a native Houstonian.

Congratulations to the Rockets on what they were able to accomplish this season. Congrats also to whomever wins the title this season.

Attended my first NBA game tonight. Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors right here in Indy. It was a playoff and a "gold out" game so we all got a free (XL) t-shirt to "gold out" the stands.

The game itself was more fun and intense than I anticipated. Down 15+ points at times in the first half but we (Pacers) put on a charge in the 2nd. Atmosphere was great and the venue was nicer than I remembered it.

Pictures attached below. Spoiler warning.

Guess who got 86ed from the playoffs? If you guessed the Los Angeles Clippers, you're right. So the Clip Joint got clipped and join my Rockets as teams eliminted from the 2015-2016 NBA Playoffs. All congratulations to Rip City.

Damn, Spurs went into full Playoffs mode tonight & left OKC standing around like amateurs at a rec center. @a6m5 must be happy watching his ol' boy Aldridge flourish on the Spurs.

I hope they do it. Don't laugh(you will), but I had such man crush on LaMarcus, it's like dealing with a breakup. I haven't paid much attention to Spurs all year, including the Playoffs. Come to think of it, I barely even followed the Blazers. I only started watching now, because of the Playoffs. As you noticed, I've stayed out of this thread as well. :guilty:(lol)

Proud of Pop & Spurs, very proud of the Blazers for not only making the Playoffs(amazing stuff), but winning four straight against the team I love & respect so much; Clippers(I hope you remember me enough to see the sarcasm). I think the Blazers exit will be swift in the second round, but I've been wrong about them all year, so *shrug* Go Blazers.

Too many people already claiming a sweep for GSW or claiming they don't need Curry to win. Same folks thinking Klay can carry the team. Klay is inconsistent as a dog turd; Draymond Green & whichever player decides to step up on a given night (could be Klay, Iggy, Speights, most likely Livingston as a vet.) will win the game.

GSW is 3-1 in the regular season: Won by 20, Lost by 32, Won by 14, Won by 25. The X-Factor in that Game 2 was keeping everyone but Curry & Klay from having a good shooting night. Golden State has a similar issue to Oklahoma; if their top 2 guys can't hit shots, the team suffers dramatically. Difference is Golden State has a solid bench where anyone can come up and drop 15-20 points behind them. They won't have Curry for a couple games, so if Portland can clamp down on Klay and force the rest of the team to make up for the points Klay & Curry combine, it's a winnable series so long as Lillard & the team shoot over 40-45%. Or they can try to force Klay to put the points to do it himself, but that's a bit risky. Inconsistent as crap, but you don't want to take the chance he's on his game.

Looks like Omnis' Miami Heat will advance to the next round of the 2015-2016 NBA Playoffs after squashing the Charlotte Hornets 106-73. A Heat/Raptors 2nd round match would mean an Omnis vs. Paulie GTPlanet inner-forum rivalry.

[UPDATE] The Indiana/Toronto series has not concluded. Edits made.

YES! Raptors finally did it and advanced past the first round. Magnificent first 3 quarters then limped across the line in typical "we tried our best to choke" Raptors fashion. @Omnis the Heat are next. Who knows which Raptors team will show up.

I'm so glad we don't have to play Paul George.

He's so good ^^

Cleveland and OKC doing good apparently too.

Lots of controversy on the Spurs - OKC game apparently with foul not called and other stuff, didnt watch the game yet but seems to have been an intense fight.

It was a very close game. Despite the missed call, the Spurs still had two or three chances to go ahead at the end after stealing the inbounds pass.

Just finished watching the Raptors-Heat game, and aside from some big plays at the end of the 4th and DeMarre Carroll, I still have no idea how the Raptors won. At least Toronto won't be getting swept then.

Edit: Hey well done Miami, that was the biggest 🤬 response from a fan base I've ever seen. When Valanciunas rolled his ankle and appeared to be in considerable pain, Miami cheered.

Bye bye, Atlanta! Nice knowing you. Cleveland is undefeated so far this playoffs- 8-0. I think I read the last team to be 8-0 through playoff play was the 2012 San Antonio Spurs. The Cavs' next opponent will be the winner of the Toronto-Miami series (TOR leads series 2-1).

Cleveland won 100-99 at Atlanta tonight.

Watching a few ESPN shows, I saw the video clip of Dwyane Wade shooting a few hoops... during the singing of the Canadian National Anthem in the most recent MIA at TOR game. What do you make of D-Wade's actions?

He made a point of making up for it the next game, no harm done.

Tonight...

* MIA Heat at TOR Raptors (series tied 2-2)
* POR Trail Blazers at GS Warriors (GS leads series 3-1)

If GS loses, can you believe they would have their tenth loss? Their total record this season heading into tonight is 73-9.

Hump Day Hoops. Enjoy some NBA basketball tonight.

An important win for the Raptors today to go up 3-2. I've been saying for some months now that the Conference Finals was the limit of my realistic hopes for Toronto, so hopefully they can close this out now. Unfortunately, whether they or the Heat ever had a realistic shot at the Cavs might be irrelevant as both teams have been hit hard by injuries. Obviously the Heat were always missing Bosh, but Whiteside has also gone down this series and now Deng has a wrist injury. Not sure when they might return. Similarly for Toronto, both Valanciunas and Carroll are out, return timetables unknown.

Want a Golden State vs. San Antonio Western Conference Final? Guess what? YOU AIN'T GETTING IT! Brett's OKC Thunder thunderstruck the black and silver boys out of the NBA Playoffs. It will be Golden State vs. Oklahoma City on the Western Conference Finals side. Either of these two teams will be closer to playing for the O'Brien Trophy.

The Toronto Raptors had the 3-2 series advantage, but how did they do in Game 6? Miami's season... lasts one more day. Goran Dragic cashed in 30 points to help his Miami Heat win Game 6 of this series with a 103-91 victory in Miami. Game 7 will be up north in Toronto. Winner meets the Cleveland Cavaliers. Loser will go home.

Omnis' Miami Heat and Paulie's Toronto Raptors. Today in Toronto, either the Heat or the Raptors will advance to meet Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals. One season will continue; the other will be done. This international affair of a series concludes today. Game 7 of 7.

Good luck to both teams today.

****ing Raptors, man. The Heat really needed Hassan Whiteside. Their offense looks like it has no idea what it's doing.

"We the north, and we beat the Heat." 116-89, Toronto Raptors over Miami today in Toronto. Dang, Omnis... that was UGLY for your Heat to lose this bad. Paulie, however, probably finds this beautiful, smiling from ear to ear, happy dancing like it's nothing. So that [mercifully] ends this playoff series. Raptors vs. Cavaliers is your Eastern Conference Finals to determine who'll play for the O'Brien Trophy in the NBA Finals against whomever wins the Western Conference Finals.

Yep!:D

And no @Omnis, I haven't got a clue how badly you wanted to post that photo.:sly:

BTW, I'm under no illusion that the Raptors can beat the Cavs. This is likely where their season ends, but I'm happy with that.
