We overthrown the Kings big time here in H-Town. The boys from California's capital city were treated to capital punishment here in the city that used to be the capital of Texas- 132-98 capital punishment, that is. An I read is that the Rockets are the only undefeated team this month heading into tonight's game. We are now 19-7 on the season as we notched up our eighth win in a row. James Harden got himself ANOTHER triple-double, though he's not triple-double crazy like that beast Russell Westbrook in OKC. Harden got 15 points, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds. This triple-double ties him with Hakeem Olajuwon for most all-time by a Rockets' player. One more triple-double by James Harden, and he will be all alone at the top with the most triple-doubles by a Houston Rockets player.
Congratulations to Wednesday's other winners, including the Toronto Raptors sinking their fangs and claws into the poor Philadelphia 76ers in Philly.
[OMISSION] A stat I read on ESPN is that it took Hakeem Olajuwon 1,117 games to record his 14th triple-double, but it took James Harden only 340 games to get his 14th triple-double. One more triple-double by Harden for the Rockets will mean he'll be all alone with the most triple-doubles in Rockets' history. I know there's that guy in OKC that's a triple-double machine, but James Harden = beast. The top three in franchise history for triple-doubles is currently James Harden and Hakeem Olajuwon with 14 each, and Clyde "The Glide" Drexler with 7. That's good company.
