What I want to know is who lit Sids arse on fire in that lap? Nearly 1 sec quicker than VH's best. Fantastic stuff.

LOL, I think credit goes to Rager - for during his softs stint he got passed both VH and Chance and finally me .. and then I did all I can to draft him and keep close to him , we were side by side for a few corners passing each other for a few good laps and then I drafted too much speed and lost most of my downforce the next turn ... and with two tyres in the sand :) thats when VH and Chance caught up and passed me until the first pit stop .. at this time I was followed by vh :)

btw the GPF and Laguna Seca are both I am good at, looking to some practice.

Can't believe how close the lap times are and Mr emu stole my time on hard tyres. Identical down to the thousandth of sec incredible lol:scared:

funny chance thought you pinched my time. lol. lap times where very close hey.

Notes for round 2. Please remember no cutting the chicane and to keep two wheels inside white line. This also applies to outside of corners as well. No running wide unless avoiding contact. Start time 1.30 qld 2.30 nsw Vic and will be in Vh lounge. Please make sure you send a friend request to Vh_mik if you havnt yet done so. Good luck and see you Sunday

Qualify for the sprint round on hards racing on soft. Can do the race Thursday night if all want to. But will not do it unless all agree

Sweet. What time were you thinking? Could be a go... I do like Laguna Seca, 1 of my fav tracks to watch on the motogp calendar

I fine with whatever time Thursday or Friday. But will not proceed unless all can attend. Just thought this way we don't have to skip a week. Especially as this is our first sprint round and going to be hard work for all to find a groove.

Ill be keen on friday would be around nine oclock here. On a different note we really need to sort this dropping out each week, im not sure how but there must be a way

Fully agree Mr manoc but have tried many ideas with no success. The only week we had no dropouts was week one when we started earlier. Have tried to look on net for advice but yet to find anything useful. So if anyone's an IT expert feel please feel free to offer advice. The only change I can see is to move time. So this means Saturday night or Sunday night as only other possibilities. Or maybe try Sid or frutti to set up lounge. Maybe were going wrong way with strongest connection idea.

Some people are suggesting the reason for dropout is related to running on WiFi to your modem. They suggest running a Ethernet cable rather than WiFi and this prevents dropouts. Don't know if this helps?

Since moving house I have not hot a land line connection, and only have my wifi. So I have noticed that I have been lagging.

They reckon you should connect your ps3 to your modem via an Ethernet cable, not via the WiFi link

might be right luke. ive been wifi ever since ive had ps3. never had a problem. i reckon networks been ****. i should be right for any time friday if all are up for it.

I run WiFi to an adsl router so like I said still trying to find something that might work but who knows

I think it's psn. On Sunday I watched a stack of people dropping out from my friends list while we were racing. I've got one of the best hard wired Ethernet connects you can get and even I got bumped out when the race ended on sunday, and when we raced at spa. We've tried all different room owners with no fix, so can't be anyone's connection.

Connections will help, but VH is right PSN can have issues...
I personally run wifi, but only because I'm in a rental and can't cable where I want, plus I've never really had any issues.

The wireless adapter in the PS3 is rather ****e, so it's suggested that you connect to the router via ethernet if possible. This will improve your NAT type. Another thing that helps is a router reset every once in a while. What kind of internet connections are people on? Anyone running fibre or cable? Or are we all on ADSL of some description?
Rager are you running off the 3g network? I have friends that game off 3g and swear by it, but it would depend on your location I guess.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask as I work in Telecommunications :D.
