hang on hang on. if you are so far ahead over there, why do so many of you live over here. lmfao. (cheap shot i know but funny}
The simple fact is that we like to send our less skilled people over there, as they get paid more for menial tasks.
They call it the "Brain drain" yet only one of my friends that has moved over there has a tertiary qualification. So I call it siphoning the rubbish![]()
hahaha thanks for that seeing how my boss is a kiwi I now feel really low lol![]()
3am Sunday
just a couple of things I would like to add. in race 1 rager hit stud slightly which in turn pushed him into shamrock who went off so who do I blame there. stud did miss his brake marker and hit manoc, but as I have done this and as you admitted to autech do I kick out every one who has done this. both stud and manoc dropped out in race one so again do I kick out everyone for the same offence. race 2 stud went off rejoined with dirty tyres. went off again and rejoined the side of the track front of 4 cars causing a pileup. now seeing how Mr Luke also went off in front of me then rejoined only to go off next corner on dirty tyres do I kick him also. and when manoc pushed me off do i call this karma or kick him. guess what I'm trying to say if no one gave me a go when I first started I wouldn't have the friends online that I do now. most of this is my fault for making it reverse grid on the wrong track. I will Talk to stud and rager and work out a solution. but kicking someone out for a mistake to me is not good. if he was driving aggressively and pushing people around I would have no hesitation in removing him from the series but to punish him because I put a slower driver in front of a fast field seems a bit tuff. this series is about mates trying there best but more importantly. it's about mates sharing a common interest with there mates. I had some cracking battles on Sunday with emu, fewzo, manoc, and even rage for a lap and two wide through the corkscrew with him was awesome. I do believe stud is approaching the series in the right manor but just needs more time to come up to speed with how to drive against people, and not a computer. and lets face it if I give no one a go we wouldn't have fulch with us who did him self proud on Sunday. good clean racing. so like I said more care from all of us needs to be taken, and not just shoot one person and blame them for everything
I loved the reverse grid aswell , Race 2 was my most action packed race. Id like to thankyou all for welcoming me and giving me a chance to run with you all.
I picked up on a few things from you faster guys which Im trying to adapt my driving style to and would welcome any advice. Having said that , I always stick by " he braked early" exuse to not quite cut it as an exuse lol. It was a very steep learning curve for me about braking early when in a draft . and following a driver for some time to notice his brake markers before trying to out brake him. Im sure you guys are masters of this and some slower guys shouldnt neccesarily be the cause of an accident.
Loved the racing and look forward to many more. btw Chance , did you crack out the dfgt wheel and try with bumper view ?
no Mr fulch was on the old controller. today much to the Mrs disgust, have ordered a g27 with shifter and upgrade spring kit for pedals. over the next three weeks I am building a rig to put her in time permitting so hopefully will soon be a wheelie to. look out then will be 5 secs a lap quicker lol![]()
Good to hear there chance , I was drooling over a g27 in dick smith yesterday. Sweet bit of gear. Im happy with the dfgt atm (squash ball a must lol) and have just posted a pic on your facebook page of my finished setup.
If you want some extra finances for the g27 mate , Im sure my mate will buy your dfgt if you want to get rid of it.
keep your dirty mits of that wheel its mine HAHAHAHAHA
After reviewing replays i have discussed my findings with no_chance and warnings will be handed down.
Reverse grid race was as expected by both chance and I which on a hole was a success in our eyes. Just a quick reminder that we all have a roll to play in those situation, and i now that the red mist can control your actions. But you should not use this as an excuse for your actions.
Yes, thats right, Fluke did bags winning at the start of the race, we should all hang our heads in shame. I, for one, am very sorry Fluke![]()
