Might be wise to invest in an ignition map box to lower the power when it rains.

Even if your input discipline good enough that the power doesn't cause loss of control, that much power will make regaining control more difficult when it is lost.

Which isn't a problem on a race track, everyone there is aware of the risks. But for social driving that puts other drivers and pedestrians at risk. Gratuitous power is dangerous off the track.

It's all up to the driver. And I'm not saying I'm the best or anything like that. I'm saying it's all up to the maturity of the driver. Some can daily drive a super car all their lives and not kill themselves or anyone in the process and other people can find a way to kill themselves doing idiotic things in their parents caravan...... I know for fact that this car can kill me or other people at a moments notice if I make a stupid decision at any given moment... I don't want to be "that" guy. I'm well aware of what I should and shouldn't do on public roads.

Ok guys big update. It's been a while so I haven't spent much time on here as much posting. Anyways the girlfriend and I moved into a house together so we've been busy with that. The Corvette's been a blast and we recently just drove it to new brunswick and back with no issues whatsoever and even got 37mpg on the highway most of the way! So I've decided to sell my F-body! After owning the Camaro for almost 5 years now and having it spend the last 3 years as the winter beater I think it's time to give her a better life. I have a buddy that's been wanting my Camaro for the longest time and he's decided to buy it off me to use as a project/proper summer car. I wanted something a little more practical and comfortable in the winter and I've wanted another P71 for the longest time. I found quite a nice one and bought it! It's got some really good bits on her and she's probably one of the nicer P71's I've seen in a long time. So here's some pictures!

So speaking of the goodies, this is what she's got.
a 3.27 traclok LSD, a full mercury Grand Marquis interior swap, Marauder maf, ziptube and airbox. Naake QA1 adjustable coilovers, Eaton Detroit progressive lowering rear springs, American Racing wheels on 255 and 275 toyo proxxes tires, Mustang Mach 1 chin spoiler, Marauder corner lights and bigger sway bars...

Oh I should mention it came with an '01 Mustang Cobra Tremec 5 speed and everything needed for the swap! Plus a really nice steeda short shifter. So 5spd swap is on the way!!!

I'm like, a whore for Crown Vics. I clicked on your thread expecting the standard stock P71, but then I saw what you got and fell in love. A Grand Marquis interior to replace the spartan P71 interior? That's amazing. But yeah, nice car man. If you ever wanna sell it, we'll have to work something out. lol

Haha thanks. Ya this one just looks so mean. P71's are one of my all time favorites! I can't wait to swap in the 5 speed transmission in it though! That'll completely make the car. Not sure if I would be wanting to sell it anytime soon though!

Screw you for selling the camaro. But that white thing looks luscious
Haha sorry! I knew you liked that car. I do too but I still have it since she's pending sale but I just feel like that car deserves to be more than just winter beater!

I'll let it go if you fix the stance on the rear of your car, it looks really odd, as in, the frontend sits perfectly and the rear looks like a 4x4 but the tire pokes out the exact ammount... I don't know, it's just weird.

The P71 is on point. I can't recall seeing too many modded Interceptors out there. I agree with Cano too, that ass needs to be sat down a bit.

I know, it looks really awkward in photos. It already has Eaton Detroit lowering springs out back. I think it's the added fact that the front end is slammed on coilovers and has some pretty decent camber combined with the rear end about an inch or so higher with zero camber because of the LRA really exaggerates things. Mind you the rear wheels are 18's and still look tiny in that giant wheel well of the already giant car. It looks a lot more normal in person.

It looks a little more normal from a sideview, I sorta like the rake. Maybe if I got some rears with a thicker sidewall to fill the wheel well out better.
