Alright GTP I guess I could update my thread showing the progress and changes I've made to the car in the past year or so of owning my car!
First off, I'd like to say it's been a blast owning it and having her as a daily driver! I love the fact that with the magnetic suspension you can have a comfortable long distance cruiser (more on that later) and then with a flick of the switch the car stiffens up and makes attacking the twistie's incredibly fun!
So, where do I start....
Picked the car up a little over a year ago at 24-ish thousand km's. Today, she's sitting at about 51 thousand km's and I've loved every single min of it. I ended up doing a three thousand kilometer road trip earlier this summer to New Brunswick, amazing drive and had a blast driving through the forests of Maine.
Here's a picture that I thought was awesome while in Maine!

In the past year I've done a few little bolt ons the first of which was a Vararam Intake. Which I'm quite pleased with.
Then, since we all know how quiet C6's were I ended up getting an SLP loudmouth axleback that made the car a little louder....
Thought I was happy with that, but then I got to reading on the forums that Z06's exhaust manifold's from the LS7 and the high flow cat's bolt on directly to LS2's and people were seeing gains on the dyno of 20-30rwhp. So I started looking around and scored some manifolds and highflow cat's for next to nothing!
While I was getting them installed, I decided to go with larger pipes from the cat's all the way to the SLP axleback. Went from a 2.5'' to 3'' piping.
They also looked pretty sitting in the engine bay! At least to the stock manifolds that is!
Best bang for buck mod I think. Did I mention it made the car sound ridiculous! Ridiculous popping during the overrun and it just sounds downright evil!
I've been told it now sounds like a super loud ZR1. I think this vid kinda proves that and yes I also bought a GoPro along the way! (more of that later!)
I just love jumping in and getting lost in this car!

Plus that GoPro makes for some fun still photos!

Of course the one thing that always bothered me about the car since I've bought it were the chrome wheels... I've never been a fan of chrome wheels so I always said to myself that they were going to go as soon as possible. Each time, I'd end up spending it on improving the car's performance instead of it's appearance. A week ago I told myself that I was going to finally do something about it......
Well wheels finally came in today and I just got them on today as well. They're the split spoke design that came on the LS3 Corvette's but black. Totally makes me fall for the car again! I love the way it she looks!
Here's some pics from tonight!

It's also been decided that ZR1 style front splitter is next up for the car!

Well, I guess that's the story so far! Thank's for tuning in! I think she needs a slight lowering so I might lower the adjustable lowering bolts on the car. I think it sits almost perfect up front and a slight drop in the rear to get the stance I want. Next big update might be a nice custom grind cam. 500 plus horsepower sounds like a reasonable goal!
And here's some more GoPro footage, stuck it on the back bumper near the exhaust so this one's pretty damn loud haha.
