Something I just remembered - my buddy with the WS6 tended to lunch rear ends and, once, the tranny tailshaft. You might not wanna hoon around in it too much.

Tuned on 94 octane? Is 94 a standard grade up in Canada?

Its available at a couple of well known brands of stations in the area. Although one, Pioneer gas stations, is pretty well known for selling gas of "lesser quality" and I've learned not to put it in my cars. 👎

I disown you. :P That Camaro generation is blah compared to the Mustang 5.0 you had. Why did you do it? A Trans-Am yes, Camaro no. Oh well, I hope you enjoy it. 👍

Should of bought another P71 you should.

Haha, well the opportunity arose I guess. As much as I loved the 5.0 I've also wanted one of these Camaro's or TA's hehe. Next on my list of to own car's would have to be a Viper GTS....Will update the thread when I get one of those haha.

As great as I consider the Camaro to be, I don't think anyone will trade you a Viper for it.:sly:

MMkay everybody I have sold the Mustang....Actually more like traded it for something a little bit nicer!

It's a 1995 Camaro Z28....Hehe, crossed over to the dark side I guess.

LT1 350 - rebuilt around 65k ago
T56 - spec3 clutch, new hydraulics
3.42 rear end - auburn posi
K&N cai
UMI sfc's
UMI relo brackets
UMI panhard bar
UMI lca's
BMR stb
Strano springs
Koni 3/4 shocks
17x9 & 17x11 ZR1 rims with 275/40/17 (front) 315/35/17 (rear)
New hood
Pacesetter Headers and Ypipe with custom catback (powerstick muffler)
Pro 5.0 shifter with hurst ball
Tunercat's was used to tune certain parts out.

It's tuned on 94 octane and the owner assures me it makes around 300 to the wheels. Considering how it drives I might have to believe that.
And onto the pictures! These are pictures I've taken since I've got her. It's rolling on stockers right now as the ZR1 rims are rolling on summers...

I've also got a pic of it sitting on the ZR1 rims that I wish I could put on right now...

So far, I'm loving it. I swear it makes my Stang feel like an economy car!

The 4th gen Camaro and Firebird are a lot of fun. Especially since you bought the one with T Tops, leather, and the T 56. I had a 95 Firebird and 96 Forumula years ago and they were both some of my favorite cars. The 95 Firebird looked good but only had the 3.4 so it was very slow. The 96 Formula was loaded V8, T-tops, Leather, T56 and was just such a fun car to drive, besides winter. lol. I truly miss cruising with the T - tops out. Its a feeling you will never forget.

You're right, these things had week rear ends. In fact I blew it up 2 weeks ago while accelerating spiritedly from a stop. Got a stronger Aubrun posi put in as well as changing the rear end gear ratio's from 3.42's to 3.73's. So much funner now actually. In fact it'll spin the rears if I gun it cruising in 3rd.

Thanks it's been so fun lately with the t tops!

Nice car ND4SPD! 👍

Reminds me of the '94 Z28 my dad owned. That thing was so nice, he bought it new and kept it pristine. Was sad to see it go, was always curious on buying one of that body style and just making it insane. Instead I have my 5.0 :P Anything new on the car?

Why thank you, I love your 5.0 btw! Nothing new, I want a new car actually. Well newish. I've got my mind set on a C6 Corvette. So instead of putting more money into the Camaro I've been saving up for the past year. Maybe at the end of summer or next spring. I've decided that I'd also keep the Camaro if I get a C6, I thought about selling it if I got a 2nd car but it's too sentimental now. Car's still great though. Nothing like t tops and a big V8 to keep me entertained for the time being!

 Moving up the food chain are we? RX-7, P71, 5.0, Z28, now a C6? Can't blame you though. My next car after mine will probably be something faster. :P

Haha ya, I guess you could say that. There seems to be a pattern of increasing engine size with my car purchases.
nice to hear you'll keep the Camaro if you do get another car. I love your F-Body.
Thanks, it's been the best car I've owned so far and it'd be way too hard to just let go. Plus, the amount of stories I hear about people regretting selling their 4th gens kinda got to me.

Any reason for a C6 over C5 ZO6?

I like C6 over the C5 but a C5 Z06 is a tough choice. I've seen some Z06's for pretty cheap and it's quite tempting to pick one up over a C6. I think it's the appeal that the C6 will be a targa top, I'm just too used to t-tops I think. I'm not sure, the appeal of something newer is nice as well. I love the interior of the C6 over the C5 any day as well.

C5's came with a targa. And the HP difference can be made up quite easily.

Alright, it finally happened! As of last Friday I'm the proud owner of a 2007 C6 Coupe in Victory Red 6spd! I'm still in shock and it still hasn't hit me yet. Each time I walk to it my jaw is still on the ground! 24,000Km's and was owned by an old man who traded it for a 2012 Z06.
Here are the Only pics I have of it so far. I'll probably post more photos as I take them!

At the dealership after the test drive!

Overall, I still can't believe it's mine. Love the interior, seats feel great and the car has selective ride control so you can make it cushy and soak up the bumps like a regular car or you can stiffen it up and have the car corner like a champ! Power everywhere, I can only imagine what a Z06 or Zr1 would feel like. Oh and if anyone's wondering, I still have the Camaro. It's now the winter beater. ;)
