Game is ok, but the live action cutscenes make me want to bash my head into a wall. Ea needs to send these developer fools to a real car meet. its ten times worse the fast and fools. Brutal.

im struggling with the arcade controls. Goes agianst everything that should be. so weird. To bad it has no more sim like controls option.

Looks ok. Sometimes great but rather mediocre mostly.

Worth a try if u can stomach b class movie cringeness.

In honor of Paul Walker I've made a custom designed Nissan Skyline, with other custom designs as well!
Check it out. If you like it, and would like more, please leave a comment, drop a like, and subscribe!!

Fire Fist Ace tribute is where it's at, that was awesome. All your OP tributes were awesome, greatest story ever.

is it just me or where the **** is the turbo / kompressor sound?
And no BoV sound either, how the **** can you miss out on this in a game like this?

massively dissapointed when it comes to this.

other than that fun game so far after 4 hours spent.

Is the game download only? I want the deluxe version but can't find it in disc

Can anyone tell me how to create a crew with a friend?
Dont know how to join each others games and theres no option to create a crew

I'm a little shocked by the amount of people complaining about this game like it's a racing simulator. It's a Need For Speed game, it's an arcade racer. I don't know what the heck you guys were expecting from the handling. Complaining about balanced cars not doing well. Duh, you aren't supposed to have race car handling.

But then again, this is gtplanet, where if it's not a perfect simulator it's crap.

So if it's not a simulator then it's ok to be bad? DriveClub nor Horizon are a simulator and they seemed to tick a lot more boxes than this.

Great game so far however no way is it better than NFSU1 and 2.

- No neon lights
- No way to change speedometer
- 2-8 Multiplayer
- No photo mode

Just wondering, have you played the game? Because I don't see how would you compare this to Driveclub or Horizon.
It's more comparable to horizon in terms of buying a car, customizing it, and taking it out on the open road. You missed the point completely though, they are not simulators either, and they've done extremely well.

Still I think bad was the wrong word to use, I'd like to change tht to glaring issues and restrictions.

I'd take a wheel on any game that has car's in it, if I had the option. Makes everything more fun, intuitive, and immersive.

The game is installing now. It marks the first time a disc has even been in the XB1 since August.

A very kind friend gifted me it, so I'm curious to see how it is. He also left a note on it telling me to exchange it for Fallout 4 if it's crap.

Guess I'll be using the Hauppage for any screenshots...

I haven't bought it yet, mainly because I forgot about NFS and I didn't know it was out yet. I forgot the release date. :/
I may go buy it today.

Ok so here goes.

The game looks ok but I agree with other reviews and say that the night to dawn/dusk looks nice but because it goes back to night is just a waste of development time and I have no idea what they were thinking.

The handling isn't too bad once you get used to it. It's by far no sim but it isn't meant to be, as for if its a good representation of an arcade game? No it's not and let me explain:

Arcade racers in this day and age seem to have varying degrees of arcady-ness going from all out unrealistic of say Ridge Racer or Sega Rally up to more modern games like Driveclub. This fits somewhere in the middle and because it's not trying to be at either end it misses out.

If it had gone full on crazy and been at the RR end then it's would have lead to fast and flowing gameplay which is great, it gives newcomers a false sense of being a great driver because it's easy to string a few drifts together but would eventually got harder with faster apponants (this is why the original burnout a were so good)

If it had gone up to the Driveclub end then the modifications would have actually meant something and I would have happily spend most of the game in the garage tweaking and tuning to perfection along with getting my ride to look fantastic Forza title hit the nail with this end of the spectrum (I know some people feel it's a sim but I think it's like GT which straddles the divide between sim and arcade)

The car selection is nice and I'm glad to see a wide variety of machines on display. Do I think the game is going to force me to just upgrade for the sake of entering competitions? Heck yeh and this is a flaw in the game, because if I can drive a car around 100% faster than the AI with less BHP because I'm a good driver I should be awarded more, instead I'm forced to strap on more and more junk including NOS just to drive against a tool AI driver in a F40!

Not to mention the AI is doing a time attack as slow as a fart and I lap him/her multiple times yet the splits show they're only fractions behind me! The to add insult to injury the rubber band effect is bad (really bad) and I'm smashing 150 down the highway and they blow past only for me to catch back up while doing the same speed, then at the last second they whizz past again this time clipping me and pushing my car into oncoming traffic.

However this is an arcade game after all and we should be able to ignor it's faults right? Wrong, a poor game is a poor game no matter the genre. NFS 2015 is poor but not so much I'm going to give up on it, heck no I want to rice up some classic cars and tool about and this is where the guilty pleasure this game offers really shines through.

My final words on the game are that its not really bad, but I'd avoid buying new if you can hold off for a SH copy. If this is the direction the franchise is going then it's got potential to become a nice arcade racer, I think the Dev team need to work out which end of the spectrum they want to sit and concentrate on making the best version the my can, rather than worrying about if they will upset guys like me.
