Ah, OK. That's the one I thinking of. Thanks. You mean the Acura RSX Type-S. It should be near the start of the list.
Any amount of excitement I had for this game (Which wasn't much at all) was just killed:
So the usual EA bugs or are there less of them? This time when it exited me to the main menu, I lost all controls to the car. I can bring up the map and thats about it....
Jerome
Perfect video to sum up how it actually plays.
If this company would stop mass producing need for speed games, and focus on what the community wants, or have a goal what they want their end product to be, this game has the potential to be a good.
Money talks, so I doubt they'll put much time into this before they drop their next title and ask people once again for more money.
So the usual EA bugs or are there less of them?
I don't know why people are praising this game, its horrible, it could have been such a great and fantastic game but alas, its fking terrible,
Just a handful of things and like no real interaction with other online players, a session is like 8 people (yourself and 7 others) forget joining a friend their session will be full. No interaction via chat in game unless your in a party chat.
- No Manual (it's a racing game)
- The handling (given its an arcade NFS but when you can turn the corner better with the handbrak / e-brake somethings broken)
- No daytime (I get that they are trying for the illegal street race night atmosphere but come on)
- Graphics (while sometimes its stunning, its flawed, sometimes it looks like a hipster Instagram post with stupid filters, the police lights are annoying as ****! Darkness sometimes things jump out cause you literally couldn't see them and its always raining or seems like it is, rain on the third person camera like why?
- Cockpit View (enough said given most people don't use it (apparently from studies))
I am going to give it another day/night and if I feel the need to rage quit it will be returned and the money will be put towards Battlefront.
1.Manual will be added as DLC later
Wait, are you actually serious? I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
Yes... AS OF RIGHT NOW, you're stuck with auto.
I don't think EA have announced anything associated in adding manual unless you got a source?Yes... AS OF RIGHT NOW, you're stuck with auto.
You guys do know that for the past week(s), YouTubers have gotten early access to the game. Giving you a week to see almost all the features of the game.
DLCs are in the works.
I've been trying to find it for the past 5 minI don't think EA have announced anything associated in adding manual unless you got a source?
Yes I'm dead serious.
Why is there such hatred for.the game? Do you guys do your research before getting it? I knew damn well what I was getting myself into. A game that will last me hours just on customization alone. I knew the physics were quirky, knew there was no manual, knew there was going to be server issues...
And yet, you guys are tearing it apart as if you were promised a sim-racer and got an arcade-racer.
Let's say for now, the game will be only automatic then.I've been trying to find it for the past 5 min![]()
It was a tweet from the game devs stating "We're looking into it". Since there is high demand, they're going to see how to work it in the game.Let's say for now, the game will be only automatic then.![]()
How can you defend this when just about every other racing game on the market has the option, especially ones made years ago.
ONE little detail, is not going to make me diss the game, rip it a new one, and start ranting. Why? Because I'm happy seeing that we FINALLY have NFS Underground level of customization in a game. The graphics, sounds, customization, cut scenes - yes, I personally like them - outweigh that one little detail. So what? It's going to come eventually. If it never does, so be it.
No, it's like making a first person shooter, and restricting the player to infantry combat. And then comparing the game to other first person shooters that have vehicular support/combat.It should've been in the game in the first place. It's like creating a first person shooter, but taking away the ability to reload your gun whenever you want. You have to use your entire magazine before the game automatically reloads for you. Then, weeks or months later after people tell you that you've made an idiotic design choice, you create a patch which lets them manually reload.
