Quick question:

I'm waiting until X-mas for this game and an Xbox One. Thing is I'm already getting some ideas for customizing some cars. My question is this: the wrap for the M3 (the infamous Most Wanted one) can I change the paint of it or does is stay blue?
If you're talking about the preset wrap available for the normal M3, yes you can change the color but I'm not sure for the Deluxe M3 though.

The only thing you can do to the F40 is put on the LM kit.

The LM kit is just like the LB F40. Strange. Why wouldn't they allow you put rims on? Forza Horizon 2 allowed you to put rims in a F40.
You also can't change the rims on the 458... strange. And maybe they lookalike because the LB kit is trying to replicate the LM version.

How do you transfer decals from one side of your car to the other?

You can't. That's why Ghost have said they're "looking into" implementing it in an update.

Honestly, I wish there was something like Forza's Storefront in this, at least for stickers/vinyls. I'll probably hold off until the price drop for this. I've actually got the demo on my Xbone thanks to a year's trial of EA Access, I wonder if it's still usable now that the full game's been released.

Maybe Ferrari didn't allow Ghost to put rims on the 458 and F40? Also the GTE kit available for the 458 is almost identical to the LB 458. Its just missing a lip spoiler.

Both parties probably had an agreement as Ghost would of put in the LB kits for the Ferrari's in a heartbeat if they were to be permitted to.

The only difference I see between the LM Bodykit and the Liberty Walk bodykit for the F40 is the Liberty Walk F40 has its splitter removed and a different hood.

Sorry about crappy thumbnail
Anyway, this game is just awesome and I can't get enough of it. I believe that it's the first PROPER street racing game since Midnight Club 3 and is the perfect game to screw around in. Having full body customisation again is a welcome sight to someone who's barely touched the street racing genre in the last 4 years or so.

What do people use for a drift car? I'm currently using an RX7 but am getting a bit bored of it, any suggestions?

I used the Fox body for the majority of the drift events, reasonably modded to anywhere between 440-540hp. It's set up to do high scores without needing a massive yank on the handbrake.

I use a Volvo 242; it's basically cheating. You'll also have to play with the handling settings if you want to be able to drive in a straight line.

The whole '5 car' ideal is something that isn't a great addition but I do like it from the angle of each car feeling unique to you and each car you have is one you want to own.

5 is a bit light of course, we should be able to expand our garage.
The trouble is, I've already got a game that limits how many cars I may own. It's called real life.

That's why I play car games.

That's true, although...forgive me if I'm wrong, in real life it would be pretty hard to have a 5 car garage that consists of an exotic, Japanese tuner, Euro tourer, and whatever else you fancy!

Usually would use my RX7 but since I sold it for my F40, I now use any of my cars for drifting events. And it doesn't really matter which car I would always use for drifting events since I always have the handling set to drift.

So, a weekend with the game has me at 96% completion, with just the spontaneous events with the single cars left to do. Apparently, doing drift contests with them doesn't count, because I challenged two or three AI and the cars all remained locked from the menu. When the server went down for maintenance, I decided that was enough. GTP review coming later today.

I'm also trying to figure out the fifth car for my garage. I've got my low-power (197hp) NA Miata, a mid-power NSX, a 536hp Fox body for drifting, and a bonkers 800-something horsepower F40 for the quick stuff. Had a '71 GT-R for a little until I needed to make space for the storyline cars, not sure if I want to get it back or not. Since the game has such little focus on the actual handling traits of cars, I'm not really in any rush to try things like the Focus RS, or even the Cayman GT4. Which is sad.
