I'm basically done with the game now. I have to do the Outlaw events, but I don't plan on doing them, the cop chases are :yuck: So I'm just bouncing around town, waiting to get to lvl 50 (45 atm) so I can fully upgrade my cars.

To help pass the time, I tried to find what I call a Money Race; a quick, high paying event that I can do in my sleep. I haven't checked all of them out, but the Once More With Feeling is a great one. It pays at least $8K per run and the run can be done in about 30 seconds below the cutoff:

It's really quick, fun run with lots of jumps 👍

Another great one is Fueled For The Fire. Gives out $8,000 & ~20,000 rep for a minute of work. It's much more boring to grind though than Once More With Feeling. Also, here's a wrap I made back when the game came out. I just took photos of it now

Trying to beat Magnus in my 400BHP BRZ on the 'Business or Pleasure' event is suffering.

That event is my personal favorite for money grinding. Oh, and I really, really like that livery - it has a very distinct Japanese look, despite looking a bit rushed in some places.

400BHP BRZ
You're not gonna win. From my experience, you need at least 500-600 HP and a really good grip car. Drift slowed me down too much to be helpful. I used a tuned 240Z to win the event. It's not too hard to win once you learn the track and get a fast car. You just gotta watch out for the rubberbanding.
unless you're using the BRZ to give you a challenge which is cool in my book

Yeah, Walker's rubberbanding is pretty insane.

I'm more or less done. I'll log on for 15min tomorrow to get my final achievement, but other than the daily challenges, I've got 16 more cars to beat in spontaneous events. Trying to work out how the AI are spawned is becoming far less fun.

I just love the current handling on my BRZ, really dont want to mess it up with mods. :( Looks like im gonna have to get some upgrades.

There is a Liberty Walk kit available. I don't know for the other parts though.
Let me help you out. There is currently:
-One bodykit (Liberty Walk)
-A couple of spoilers and exhausts
-Wheels and tires
-Stance
And that's about it. Supercars really got the short end of the stick in this game. (Especially for the Ferraris)

In my opinion, supercars shouldn't be visually customized. Those companies spent a ton of money doing research and development for those supercars to be as fast as possible. Adding an aftermarket part to it just ruins the look. Supercars are meant to be bought and driven hard. Sports cars are meant to be bought and built.

Well if a game is going to add supercars in a street oriented arcade racing game, either go and look into the internet for some supercars that can be modified for e.g:
Mercedes SLR Mclaren- Mansory
Ferrari 458- Liberty Walk
Or go for the Midnight Club LA/NFS MW2005- Undercover formula.

As for the Business or Pleasure event, I had to use a mildly tuned Cayman GT4 to beat Walker.

I disagree. Some of these high end aftermarket companies doing wide body kits on Ferraris are absolutely insane looking. Porsche's are nearly in the same league as ferraris and lambos, you seriously dont like what magnus, RWB, and Singer has done to those Porsches?

I do like the well made body kits like Liberty Walk and RWB, but separate bumpers, side skirts, etc just seem tacky and not tasteful on supercars.

Oh, well I absolutely would agree with you on that. So lets just agree that full on body kits from manufacturers work. Although I dont see the harm in adding splitters, diffusers, and spoilers too.

I hope you're not implying that things like the BRZ/FR-S/GT86 didn't cost Toyota/Subaru far more money than it cost, say, Lambo to develop the Huracan. :P

Don't you dare call the BRZ a thing! It's my carfu.

At the moment I'm just playing the 10 hour demo, my biggest gripe so far (I've played about an hour) is the steering. I haven't changed any steering settings yet, and if I steer for more than a few seconds there's a tenth or two of lag where my car is still steering after I move the stick back to the middle. :grumpy:

Does the demo have online?

I was experiencing the steering, gas and brake lag for the first time last night, after awhile and joining a new session, the car was responsive like I was used to. I believe the whole game is dependent on how their servers are doing.

Pretty happy that they're adding more preset wraps and increasing the level cap.

Neons... eh, not so much. But people wanted them so is nice that they're listening and giving what players want.
