Game doesn't seem to be as fun as I thought. Although the PSP version seems promising. I might try that one out, the psp version now has free roam around the whole city!

here is my current car . i'm only 14% into the game. but i tend to not overdo it when it comes to mods. i ended up picking an re-amemiya like blue for the rx8 coincidentally. it just looked pretty good so i stuck with it


is there motion blur on the ps2 version? cus my pc cant seem to run it... maybe it requires shader model 3 or i just missed something.

I got this game yesterday, the body modding is pretty good, so it Autosculpt (you can change how the cars bumpers, hoods etc. look.)


I started career with an RX-8 and I won an RX-7 and sold it. So far I'm %18 through career.

I still say this game is just a rental. You could almost wipe out this entire game in a rental including the online achievements.
I have quite a bit of time into this game now. Xbox360 version. I beat the single player several days ago and now I have played almost 75 games online. Probably at least 1/4 of those online games had lag or disconnect issues. I will have over 100 games after tonight to get the 100 games online achievement. I am also at level 12 almost 13. Overall I am having fun with this but I will be selling it on wednesday. I still say its just a good rental. I am also enjoying this a lot more than Most wanted. 👍

There are just way too many great games out to just play one. Especially if you have multiple gaming systems like my girlfriend and I have.

I went with the Camaro SS for my starter car. Only external mods I got are rims for now.

yup, i got the pc version. but my videocard doesn't support the blurring feature.
it is annoying playing with keyboard, because when i press acclerate and turn left, i cant shift. maybe it is just my keyboard

Just enjoy the extra performance gain without it It looks like someone has smeared vaseline all over the screen.

I'm gonna get the PC Collectors' edition (cheaper than the regular PS2 version!) and a X360 controller tomorrow. Until then there's Ape Escape 3 to tide me over.

Aaaages since i've posted here, bought this game for PS2 as it was cheap and i thought i could use my DFP, seems i was wrong.

Has anyone got 900deg steering working properly, i could be missing something, but really enjoyed it in U2 and MW now it seems it's not supported

Thanks, Gabkicks, reminds me of a G35 that I did up drift-racer style in NFSU2. It was pretty stock body, special mixed silver pearl paint, just snyper bodykit, lowered on Enkei rims, and had a black 5Zigen vinyl across the sides, and Apex-i decals on windows. Oh, and a Carbon-fiber Formula hood.

I've completed it in my best time ever for any game, I got it last Sunday and today is Thursday .

It's really easy, I used my RX-8 until around 45% through the game, used a Porsche Cayman until around 60%, and an Impreza until the end.

The end is really weird, don't read below here as you'll probably find it's a spoiler.

Once you've taken over all the territory you get a message from Angie, Wolf and the other boss, you have to beat them in two races, they have new cars (Angie in a Dodge Challenger Concept, Kenji in an Evo, and Wolf in a Gallardo), this is quite easy exept Angie is quite hard in the second race (there are two). You get 50,200 for winning the first race. You can then challenge Darius, he's quite hard since he takes pretty much all the shortcuts which are hard to get to, after you win this, you race him in the Canyon which is easy since there is one part where you can overtake him and stay ahead.

Then you go back and win all the races you didn't do before, and thats it, complete.
