The Collector's Edition depends on the console.

The PC gets a Zonda and a '71 Challenger as downloads.

The X360 gets a CCX, 240SX, Camaro Concept, and I believe one more. This game though hides a BUNCH of cars. The box is also a bit misleading.

I beat it in 3 days, and only have to do Reward Cards and Challenges now. Online isn't that great.

I have the 240SX, Camaro concept and CCX in the PC Collector's edition, so it seems that the cars aren't console exclusive.

I want to get this. I own a 360 & a (ageing badly) PS2. Is there any significant differences between the 2 versions??
I'm hesitant on getting on the PS2 as the last game i got wouldn't work & quite a few games are going that way now.

Get the 360 version, there are more bugs + slowdowns in the PS2 version. PC and the 360 versions are the best.

You can't use the CCX or Zonda in Career though, only in quick race (although you can edit them into your save in the PC version).

I hate when game makers pull that crap. I think that everyone should be able to have access to all the cars, none of this console-exclusive crap. Case in point: I have a PC and a PS2. I would REALLY love to have a Zonda in Carbon (the CCX would be nice, too), but 6-year old computer can't handle handle the game, unless I upgrade my RAM, processor, and get a graphics card. So it looks like I'm kinda screwed out of one of my favorite cars. :indiff:

Does the PS2 version even get any exclusive cars?

Only if you downloaded the game through EA downloader. Some people are working on a way to unlock them, since all PC versions of Carbon have it hidden.

How do you get all the cars? Ive got 32 unlocked plus the starters (im in the ps2 collecters with the 240, CCX etc) 100% Game comlpetion in the stats screen completed EVERYTHING except the the reward card things. Do you have to get all them? I WANT MY MR2 AND TRUENO!

PS: i bought it last friday and got to the 100% game completion last night(all challenges and everything in career) so thats pretty much 2 days to clock it

even most wanted was longer(and harder).

Oh well it will still be my most played game till another game comes out that suppots the G25 lol, so it's still the best $110 ive spent in a LONG time.

really, it supports clutch and h pattern....amazing!!! to bad mine isnt here yet...arrghh

Glad ur havin fun witht the G25, I can't get 'multiturn' to work with my DFP, and am bitterly dissapointed. Seems like support for it has been removed since U2 and MW. :grumpy:

^^ Same problem, my G25 doesnt use 900 degree turning, but everything else works fine. I think they did remove it, which is stupid!

In order to get all tuner, muscle etc, you have to sell all of your cars, buy all tuners. Then sell those and buy all muscle, and so on. To get $1,000,000 just keep doing races over, and over

lol don't worry started a new game, with exotic becouse the alfa is worth double the comaro and rx8, did the challenge to get the 240sx, wich only cost 20g have just beat the second boss(Kenji) and have 400g in the bank, a rx7, alfa, 240sx and a DB9

Well on my way to completely finishing including reward cards.Should end up with about 1.15mil.

Like I was saying in the other thread, this guy at my local superstore let me play Carbon on Xbox 360 for two hours. I really like the game but the drifting is pretty crap compared to the one in NFSU 2. The cars spin out a lot easier and a lot harder to control. Maybe it was the Xbox, maybe it wasn't.

When I did a pursuit in the challenge series, it was impossible for me to shake off the cops. I tried for 10 minutes without success. This was on a Mazda3, the easiest of the 3.
