Need For Speed: Carbon

So anyone want to tell me how I unlock more cars? I can see the reward cards unlock a few cars like the LP460(which is a blast to drive, shame you can't own it in career) the Eclipse GSX and the Chevelle, but throughout the game I've seen an XK Jag in the cutscenes, driven an MR2 and a Plymouth Road Runner(Which looked amazing, with the fats out back and skinnies up front) in the challenge series. I've finished story mode and have done every single race. I want that Plymouth Road runner damnit!
 
you win the jag and 240sx in the last and third last challenge series things. The rest you can't get in the PS2 as they 'forgot' to get rid of the online rewards when they took out the online mode! This rally pisses me off as i bought this game for the trueno and MR2 but you can't get them:mad:. If i had've known this i would've got the 360 version. What makes it even worse is when you watch the collectors edition DVD it shows you the trueno and MR2 and as you said you use the MR2 in a challenge series drift event, so they tease you with it's awsome sound, and don't let you drive with decent physics or do anything to it:(

is the zonda ONLY on the collectors edition?

do i have to download it???

So your saying everything besides the Jag and 240 can't be unlocked because the devs screwed up with the reward cards meaning that we can never unlock some of the cars that we drove in the challenge series?! Damn what kind of **** up is that!? What a tease, I drool everytime I see the Plymouth Road Runner and Porsche GT3.....

ok so i deserve a slap no the wrist, but i want to drive these cars in career with a cheat or modifacation so i can drive the CCX and zonda in career mode, and yes the zonda IS there because ive seen it in the game's files.


can anyone help?

alright forgive me if this is posted elsewhere.

i have NFS carbon, the normal edition. ive seen a picture from the collectors edition of a Jag XK which has been put on 20" rims. i was wondering if the CCX and Jag can be modded on the Collectors edition, by that i mean bodykits, exhausts, spoilers e.t.c.

can it be done? :confused: :confused:
 
the jag can, look at my POST YOUR RIDES thread :), I unlocked it fairly and modded in career
 
But seeing that cars like m3, ccx etc cant be unlocked in career mode, its weird that EA made the 240SX and Jag unlockble in career.:dunce:

How did you get a Corvette and a Cuda when you were only up to Tier 1?:confused: Or did you use that trick where you get busted and then you restart career and you get all the Tier 3 cars unlocked..... 💡
 
EA are evil. They have our money now, so lets make patches that dont work for thousands of people and not help them when we are bombarded wth emails
 
Maybe EA perposely made that game so it would freeze and they thought thats an easy way of making the game longer instead of actually making the lifespan longer.....
 
Well, just finished it. PS2 version...2-1/2 days of play, no problem...just had to race the final darius race 4 or 5 times. Lots of fun, good graphics, but the drifting was lame and over simplified. Nice little cross section of cars too.

NO PROBLEM?!?!?! So your telling us that your game didnt get frozen?!
If your game didnt get frozen, your the first person that i know that havent got their game frozen.:scared:

I think my copies the worst, it froze about 15 times during career mode, during the 5 times i finished career...
So basiclly 3 times every career mode:scared:
 
Ok thats it, it froze twice in a hour. Im already off buying the next NFS (well thats if they even make another one) and now im not recommending this game to my friends ONLY cause of the games constant freezing:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :ouch: :ouch: :ouch: :ouch: :ouch: :scared: :scared: :scared:
EDIT: im up to about 17 freezes
