It's revealed in a story mission.

The drifting is better once you actually figure out the throttle control stuff but it's still a little too fake feeling for my liking.

When does your character say this? I haven't really been paying too much attention to the story and/or chat over the radio/phone/whatever they're using. I've mainly been collecting the Street Art to unlock some really cool decals.

Crews are indeed limited to no more than 32 people, which - depending on how popular the game becomes - could prove a bit of an issue in this case. But I say we (and this is me putting it in the most we-want-Most-Wanted-2 way I possibly can) smash through that roadblock when we get to it.

a y goin' to add me?

Is there a PS4 crew?

*Six posts earlier*

I have indeed had one set up since the game launched. I just haven't gotten around to making a thread yet.

Welp.

Patience, young padawan. As much as I'd like to, life has decided I'm not allowed to play video games *all* the time. The plan may be to get this whole crew thing working as smoothly as possible, but it is just that - a plan.

Upgraded the nismo gtr with a v12 engine swap, max ultimate parts and this was the biggest disappointment next to no pvp online matches. If anyone unlock the nismo gtr DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING OR UPGRADING IT!. The stupid pre order vette I used to farm way faster and handle better than that crap and I wasted a hour 1/2 running into stupid billboards for it. My 370z was faster than that piece of crap gtr.
You're not wasting money. Part are shared by all the cars. In theory you only need one set of ultimate parts. Even engine swaps (only with cars that share the same engine).

I've notice that for some cars I had the parts already but then at times some cars I still had to pay for the parts so it’s random for me.

Has anyone unlocked the Audi R8? I have a long grind for that one and want to know if it’s worth it.

It’s decent but sadly at this point, that stupid Porsche rsr the best car in the game.

I don't have the game yet but may i ask what makes the porsche rsr better then the fxx-k evo or the p1 gtr?

I would think those hyper cars are faster?

For some reason, the RSR is able to carry a lot more speed through corners than pretty much every single hypercar in the game - including track focused ones like the FXX-K Evo and the P1 GTR. It also happens to have ridiculous acceleration.

Ghost did say they're looking into vehicle balance post launch, so hopefully they'll nerf it in the near future

This game isn't featuring drag racing at launch for some reason.

Close to perfection, GG (Ghost Games). Hopefully added at launch.

well said, that car make you don’t even wanna buy other cars to test and try out because it’s kinda like what’s the point. If you online and everyone rolling up in that cheese car.

How is it random? As long as you have any part in your inventory it should be available for any car. I have been swapping parts from car to car from the first day. Of course if the parts are equipped they won't show as available.

Small tip. If you struggle with drifting like me try the Focus. I was able to three star all drift zones with it. Much better than any car I tried.

So, Ghost decided to actually nerf the RSR in this game and then proceeded to make it OP again with the engine swaps.

Big oof.

Aight master, thank you. Just wanted to be in crew before full time job time too:).

I wonder if any other cars can get that 3.6 flat v6 engine swap because if so we can make other op cars like it

Than again some players complain that the Beetle is also OP and now even my favorite F40. Old cars rules.

Does anyone know what the little purple/blue rectangle with the star icon inside it on the car thumbnail represents when viewing cars at the dealership? I can't see it explained anywhere in the game.

I have two burning questions, as I'm simply not able to withstand being pounded by the cops in my E30 M3.
Do older cars take more damage than new ones? And do trucks take less of a beating than other cars? I want to know whether or not there are differences between them so I can choose a vehicle that's not only fast but durable.

What heat level are you reaching, and what rating is the car? Eventually you can add upgrades that make the car tougher but if you're a low level then your car won't stand a chance at outrunning them for long enough to reach gas stations or garages. My car is currently rated around 250 and I still struggle with heat level 3.

This doesn't directly answer my question but anyway. The cars was rated at 129 and I got to heat level 3. I know that there are upgrades available but I want to know if different cars take damage differently. So, is car from the late 80's less durable than one from the 2010's?

There's definitely a difference in how much damage each car can take.
My 718 Cayman could barely take a few hits before going into damage critical, then going out with the KS Corvette and I could brawl with the cops for a good while.

Means the car doesn't have a lot (or any) customization options.

The Beetle got nerfed into the ground. Engine swaps aren't enough to save it. From what I recall, the F40 was good in 2015 but not good enough to be meta.

Could finally Afford the Forged engine upgrade for my R34 GT-R, does every car have that option?
No. There's only a handful of them.

466hp Forged 2.0L I4: Only available for the 180SX. Weird that the S15 doesn't have it.
507hp Forged 1.3L Wankel: Only available for the RX-7.
523hp Forged 3.5L V6: Only available for the 350Z and 370Z.
542hp Forged 2.0L I4: Only available for the S2000.
564hp Forged 2.5L Flat 4: Available for both Impreza models.
585hp Forged 4.7L V8: Based on the engine from the '65 Mustang but is not available for that car for some reason.
592hp Forged 2.6L I6: Available for the R32 and R34 Skyline.
596hp Forged 2.0L I4: Avaiable for both Lan Evo models.
715hp Forged 5.0L V8: An upgraded version of the Range Rover engine that's available for most larger vehicles. Most powerful engine in the game with ultimate parts.
721hp Forged 3.8L V6: Bizarrely not available for the R35 GT-R even though it's based on that engine.

I just set up an XB1 crew : search for GTPlanet XB1

tag is GTPX. feel free to join!

how do I join the crew? I tried searching it in game and it just turn up nothing.

From what I've tried the damage received is the same for all cars when stock (no armour upgrades) but heavier cars helps a bit since you don't get push around that easily. I have quite a lot of trouble with the E30 at the start of the game, any bump by the cops could easily spin the car or send it flying but the 370z and Countach I used at the moment seem to be able to handle it much better.
