The Beetle got nerfed into the ground. Engine swaps aren't enough to save it. From what I recall, the F40 was good in 2015 but not good enough to be meta.

Lmaooo I honked at a police car constantly then it chased me which turned into a full blown pursuit I reached level 5 with 7 cop cars and a helicopter chasing me this was during day time hahaha

It would also be great if there was Lamborghini police cars at least a Aventador chasing you or a Diablo SV to pay homage to the NFS 3 HP.

Once your high level it's not hard to push half a mil of rep from a night run as the cops are easy, get a few people like that in your crew and it goes quick.

I know it's easy to get 500k later.. But I have changed 4 crews already and nobody grind for rep over there. If only one person grind it's a pain even if you bank a million per night.
Usually I do one of the Discovery races that give you heat lv3, than I do the Heat3 race, jumps and speedtraps till lv5 and finally the Heat5 race. With this method you get roughly 500k mostly avoiding cop chases.

You can fit your car with floating canards if it supports rear canards and rear bumper removal. Fit the canards first then remove the bumper. Hey presto, floating parts!

I'm at around level 250 and still find it very difficult to evade them, they seem to be able to corner on rails. There's no way they should be able to turn at the same rate as a fully race spec Lotus Exige

Is there a list of parts that you equip under those two slots? I think some of them included having a spare repair kit, or being able to accelerate the nitrous generation rate by doing various things like drifting and jumps.

Has anyone else noticed a slight discrepancy with the Performance levels once you exit the garage? I had a Lvl 311 R34 in the garage that went down to 295 when I noticed it pop up at an event during free-roam. I've had a similar case with the Evo X too.

I see this game in very much the same way as Fast and Furious. It's a bit of dumb fun to keep you entertained, knowing full well that the stunts are unrealistic and the cars don't abide by the laws of physics. The game may not receive the most critical acclaim but that's not the point. Project Cars may be miles ahead in terms of physics, but not necessarily in terms of fun. Need For Speed is made to be fun, and that can prove just as appealing as a sim. For me at least.

Twice I've won a Heat 3 race, escaped and made it back to the closest safe house, had it flash up that a new part is unlocked, only to go to fit it and not see it.

Aside from numerous quirks/glitches and the ridiculously short story (kinda wish the last mission was locked behind Lvl40 rather than 30), the game has its moments.

There are many bugs so if it's due to a bug I wouldn't be surprised. However in my case Heat 3 races often lack the part icon in the race screen and when I finished them I didn't get the part. Heat 5 races always gave me parts. I have all ultimate+ parts but only a few ultimate unlocked.

You need a lv40 and 2.2 mil bucks. It's not that difficult even if it sounds like a lot. I did all the Dex missions in it. It's a very good car even if not a meta.

Yup, as someone who likes to take photos in games I'm finding it a bit annoying. It has come up quite a few times on reddit so we're not alone in finding it frustrating!
