Wait a minute....the people look like actual people you see at car shows rather than caricatures. Oh I'm all over this. Still not pre-ordering though.

EDIT: Also can we just take a minute to appreciate that spinning zoom out shot at the end there? It's incredibly well done!

I laughed at the "I said right now!!" line from the trailer. The actor delivered that way too fast. That was funny! :D In any event, I'm looking forward to this game. I enjoy the Need for Speed franchise and their arcade feel. They are a nice change of pace when I want to step out of the sim-rig and just zone out with the gamepad.

Almost look like you could be cops* but it's hard to tell.

*Not actual gameplay

Is this the beginning of the return to glory days? If so, I'm in!
This might be the first time I pre-order a NFS game.

They've got my attention. Seeems like an interesting mix between Pro Street and 2015 with a far better setting than previously.

Looking forward to some proper gameplay.

Hi all,

Since the trailer is now live, I've taken the liberty of moving the discussion to its own thread. Trying to discourage single monolithic threads, as it's easier for outsiders to catch up with the talk this way. :)

Carry on!

Especially after their last two games.

Well, I see that almost everybody feels it has Pro Street vibes. That's good news IMO. But, even if it was a remake of my favourite NFS (High Stakes), wouldn't buy it if it has crappy physics.

BTW, this:
It wouldn’t be NFS without customisation
Is bollocks.

Trailer looks really good. I been a fan of need for speed since 1. And really did not a fan of rivals, 2015 or payback due to handling and really want a cock pit camera or maybe I should let go of nfs 1-5 and shift series :(. I do hope the world is alive and lived in and handling model improved. I don’t think I’ll buy it straight off the bat as grid comes out October. Customisation looking good as always and nice car selection and really got some pro street vibes. I also didn’t mind pro street and undercover and hot pursuit need for speeds. I really don’t want to let go of need for speed one or two, very special games for me. Cockpit camera and to me need for speed was all about the cars, didn’t need characters, or story just the cars and detailed information on the cars. Exotics, imports etc. Would also love to hear other people’s thoughts who have been around since the early days and thank you once again GT planet.
