The problem with Motor-capital S-torm: Apocalypse was its catastrophically unfortunate release; releasing a game that centres around natural disasters during one of history's largest was a bloody big nail in the coffin :indiff:

It was also released during the hacking fiasco/long PSN outage, which didn't do it any good as well.

Yeah, the rules here rather have you spell out What The **** instead of using WTF. I say who cares if you use lol, idk etc as long as your sentences ain't garbled crap like many text messages are.

"wtf" "lol" are more or less accepted here. It's "soz" that's possibly "idk"...

I also don't understand why you confront me about what you think about it. Contact a staff member if you want to voice what you think the rules should be like. Telling me isn't going to change anything here.

It's not that it's a big deal, and I do know what you mean by that. For some reason, I try to do the best with my sentences. I feel like on a forum especially one like GTP, it should look at least semi-professional.

I don't understand why you are confronting me about the word 'soz'.
After all, like you said, about the staff members, why don't you talk to them instead of 'confronting' people.

Anyway, 'soz' is more... Slang these days. Not like text speak. People have keypads on their iPhones, and they can afford to say 'sorry' now without needing to say 'soz'.

Thaaat is all. End of story. Now, back on topic about NFS... >.>

I just need to get some reasonable cars for sports, and SUV.
Evoques and Gallardos aren't cutting it.
 
Looks like some of the bugs that we found are going to be fixed in a future patch.

No word on the fix for the Marussia? Or the Zonda R short gears pro bug? Still very nice of them considering EA's past reputations 👍

I'm hoping for a muscle car pack so I can finally get the Charger. And add the iOS/Android exclusive cars too while they're at it (Hummer, Cherokee, M3 GTR and Stingray).
 
Might get an update for the game Tuesday-ish. I know COD BO2 is getting an update around that time so more games are liable to have one to.

To be honest in the Ultimate Speed Pack patch they had in the patch notes a fix for some mods not unlocking, in this case the mods for Marussia but for some reason it didn't work and was only fixed for the downloadble version of the game.

It really needs more decent race cars and SUVs. Don't really care about the M3 GTR... Realistically it would get blown away...
But the one in MW 2005 was haxxxxxxx. :P

Where'd you get that information Wicken? About the patched and DLCs.

Hmmm didn't know that. I thought the patch was for DLC stuff only. Even more weird that different versions of the game react differently to the patch.

In any case, I've driven the Marussia to 400 miles yesterday so this patch can wait.

All of the sports cars with the exception of the GT-R is quite evenly matched. The Gallardo is a wee bit faster than the R8, but just worse off road, so you should be fine.

I imagine the M3 GTR would be in sports class as well. Would do pretty well if they modeled the handling to be similar to the F1 LM (since they both have lots of downforce from the wing). I imagine the off road stats to be abysmal though :lol:

The current M3 in the game is absolutely rubbish. Why they class one of the world's best handling sports cars as muscle is beyond me...

I'm thinking the M3 GTR will be in Race or exotic, it would destroy cars in sport due to the fact its top speed is 240mph (give or take mods). Its also exotic in the iOS app. @ spoil-t, my F1 LM could smoke his Venom, let alone a Corvette.
 
Yeah, IRL it would struggle to even reach 200 mph. It's got 500 horsepower tops, plus that wide body and big wing adds a lot of drag. In the old Most Wanted it might be able to reach 240 mph (? didn't play old MW so can't confirm), but Criterion's MW is surprisingly quite accurate in terms of car's top speed (relative to other arcade games).
 
The real M3 GTR would top out in the 170MPH range if my memory is correct about the ALMS. It might be Sport tier material but it would fall under Exotic because of the handling.
