Haha true, I don't doubt it'll be a good fun game but i've been disappointed by all the current gen NFS games as well as BP which was fun but I got bored with it real quick

I got bored of BP after I finished offline stuff and online challenges. The online races weren't an enjoyable experience, lag made contact events (i.e. Marked Man, Cops & Robbers) frustrating, Stunt Run wasn't fun in general since you would be doing the same things over and over again and takedown battles was easily the biggest waste of time. Showtime wasn't embraced a whole lot and beating timed road rules was fine but setting it up took forever.

I do however still continue to enjoy doing challenges despite already finishing years ago. I guess that's how I enjoy online social games; doing something with objectives. If custom races don't end up being linear like BP's, I can enjoy playing game for quite a long time.

or just cruise around and get involved in a cop chases. I hope that is possible. I think I actually have seen it in the E3 or GC footage. I mean just like in GTA games.

really you got bored with BP i love it still play it now only reason i like it so much is half of the time im quite smashed so its all good fun :)
i find the game chilling and relaxing you havent got to be on it 24/7 and all that

I hope Criterion bring back the star car of the original MW, the iconic BMW M3 GTR, especially if it follows the same story arc told in NFS MW1 and NFS Carbon. They would be insane not to, it looked awesome. Who couldn't like its pinstripes after all?

exited a fan of criterion and the nfs franchise I was there since the beginning and watched Nfs fall after underground or was it carbon then watched EA get bought out but i think criterion can do it for crying out loud look at the licence plate one car has burnout writ in on it the other has Paradise graved in it in it.👍:dopey::dopey::dopey::dopey:

This is not a sequel to the first MW, it's a reboot from CG but not exactly the same: instead of 15 blacklist racers you have 10, winning pink slips is going to be awesome again, etc. Anyway I think that you will be interested in this.

IMO, that reason was legit horsepoop. It had to be said so people don't flip out about it being Burnout entirely (which it pretty much is).

I would rather this was a Burnout title and the next NFS was The Run 2, just my personal stance.

Almost entirely Burnout. Add cops and the Blacklist and its somewhat NFS. I'd call it Need For Burnout: Most Wanted.
 
I would love to say this is BP2 but isn't burnout about wrecks i am sold on this but i cant say i am buying BP2 in most wanteds case. LOL notice BP and MW cover are alike
 
while waiting I played almost through The Run. I stop with it. I am now in position 3. But those final races are just plain stupid. Shooting an AI that is very very annoying. The physics that are geared by thick grease components do not help.

I was actually afraid that I will not like Most Wanted, but I realised CG is making that. So after a 3 minute try of Hot Pursuit I am back on track again.

Anyone fancy The Run for ps3? I have it on sale. :)
 
And unoriginal at that. Is that supposed to surprise someone? It WAS included in the past 2 games so why do they think that's going to surprise anyone? That Russian supercar should be on that page instead.

I'm not picking on you dhandes or anyone else, but I find it very surprising that some people are saying this about Most Wanted (dhandes being one of the few who actually like that impression), because this is exactly what many people were believing about Hot Pursuit before it came out and why a lot of people suddenly weren't sure of it.

Well, as we see now, HP was a success despite those initial thoughts & now that people are giving that same hesitation towards Most Wanted, I wouldn't be surprised if the game had the same success HP did.
