Looks like they've brought the guy who did DJ Atomika back... I wonder if he'll be in the actual game. I'd be surprised if they did the DJ thing again, but maybe his voice will just be used for introducing stuff in the game sort of like that video.

The car list is almost complete, it has been updated with some new cars confirmed in the newest trailer.

Updated Car list:

You forgot to add the Porsche 911 Turbo (1982) and the Ariel Atom. (He confirmed it in a E3 vid.)

The Huayra still looks amazing. Criterion, still waiting for that Zonda... May I point out the 911 Turbo is the 3.3 model and there's a GT-R Spec-V as well as the Black Edition.

^It's kinda weird, but true. The blue GTR seems to have a Spec-V badge. Left over from a beta version?

The white GTR around the official website is a '11 onwards model (led lights and the new grille) which does not have a Spec-V model to my knowledge. It's probably a track pack or US-spec Black edition as it has the same 6-spoke wheels as the Spec-V.

Perhaps Crit thinks there's a '11 onwards Spec-V?

The rear wheels on the XKR are, annoyingly, still the same lazy flat-ish spoked job as HP2010's (and Shift 2's and GT5's). It's also pre-facelift though I don't mind.

The Evo X doesn't seem to be a tuned FQ so it will be outgunned by the Cossie Rex.

I think the list above may have mixed up the 911 Turbo with the Carrera RSR.

Inflatable tyres probably have similar or lesser grip than default tyres to balance gameplay.

im hoping the put a nissan Z in ther (350 or370)maybe the gt500 or the FRS/BRZ/GT86

Ups sorry I had one mistake on my list, It's the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) and not the RSR like I was thinking. I know that they confirmed the Ariel Atom a long time ago but we still don't know it's model yet and there are a few cars yet to be confirmed: Dodge Ram, Lancia, Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV, Porsche Panamera and Toyota.

Pretty impressive list so far. I was kinda hoping on a little bit more variety, like a balance between classic and modern vehicles. I'm also surprised there aren't any old school muscles. BP had a bunch of them, even if they were just fantasy cars that resembled real cars.

I'm sure they're holding some cars back for future DLC though.

BP had way too many muscle cars imo. Would have been real nice if we had more Japanese and supercar-esque designs.

The balance in BP was fair. Japanese cars were a little light to be honest though. I was also hoping for some more vintage muscle. Hopefully there will be some DLC further down the road. For now you'll probably find me driving the Cobra.

Has anyone heard anything about an in-car camera? None of the trailers have shown an in-car view (though for a trailer, they probably want to use external shots). I don't feel "in" the game driving with an external view. The original MW was one of my favorite games ever but no in-car view would wreck my interest.

Also, I hope you can turn the autolog notifications off...none of my gamer friends play NFS and in the last title it was just me on all the high-score tables - waste of time. And honestly, it's a single-player game and I don't really care about that stuff enough to have it clutter up my view.

The car list here is smaller in number than Shift 2 and Run partly due to a lack of old muscles and a number of Japanese sportsters.

There are no variations as well like in HP2010. (Superleggera, Balboni, etc.)

It's probably a trade-off for better balancing or for the events supposedly tailored for each individual car. Also, DLC seems more or less given as even the Run had it!

It's the Spec V as their reusing it from HP. Also anyone notice this? You know the clases Sport,Super,Muscle,Everyday,SUV,Track,Classic? Notice how the car list has cars that compliement each other?

Caterham r500,Ariel Atom,Bac Mono,M3 GTR
Countach,Shelby Cobra,911 Turbo (930)
Challenger,Mustang,Camaro
Viper,Ford GT,Corvette ZR1
Lancer,WRX STI,Audi A1,Focus RS
mp4 12c,Lexus LFA,Marussia B2?
Hummer H1,Ford Raptor,Land Rover?
Lexus ISF,Mercedes C63,BMW M3

You get what I'm saying right?

Also add the Lexus IS-F and the Mercedes C6 AMG their confirmed from a Twitter poll.

Heh, but it's true though. BP had maybe 5 or 6 Japanese-influenced car designs.... and they totally didn't have enough Skylines either :P

With the way Criterion has been pushing the autolog system as the heart of the the current NFS era since HP2010, I'm betting on no there won't be the option to turn notifications off.

Basically they want autolog in your face all the time; menu screens, loading screens, even during gameplay. I won't be surprised if they eventually invent some device that has autolog recommendations nagging you in your sleep.

Listen to the interviews and you'll realize that the NFS series is becoming a social game, which means you're going to have to find some online buddies if you want to get the most out of NFS.

Prior to HP2010, NFS has always been mostly an offline single-player game for me. However with the way the series has evolved, it can no longer be, unfortunately.

Actually you can lower the volume on your friends. It tells autolog you don't care about them. I'm assuming you can lower the volume on all your friends.

^ All I read from Twitter is a poll for the favorite out of the 3. I could not find any confirmation of those V8s so could you post it?

The GTR is LHD so I doubt it's meant to be a Spec-V. Criterion probably updated the model's appearance to '11 onwards (like on the website) and forgot about the badge.

Also, while the cars compliment each other due to class similarities, there are major gaps in performance in some of the 'groups' so drastic balancing would need to be done.

I fear Criterion may have abandoned the car type system as well as it has not been officially mentioned outside of that tweet a long time ago.

^
It was the poll description and the reply twitter gave that made it seem like it is in MW. Also in the Gamescom vid they do have classes as based on car type. Performance I dont know. If the GTR is LHD then it's the Black Edition then.

The original MW didn't have a rating system, in fact it wasn't introduced until Carbon. So I'd guess that you can tune a Focus RS to beat a Veyron.
