 Am I the only person who thinks that the game is fantastic but could use more...character?

Considering how the majority here aren't enjoying it, I would believe not.

This game lacks a sense of identity. It's just a damn driving game to me. I'm getting so little "Need for Speed" out of this, which makes me believe Criterion isn't good with stories. They can make games that are fun and easy to learn, but not a game with valuable depth and extremely well thought-out online play.

Autolog signing out is glitching my game. It's taking away speed points making Blacklist races relock after I already beaten them but the points randomly come back. So screw it I'll finish the game offline.

I'm getting this too. I was stuck at 210k SP for a good few hours until I turned the game off and back on, then suddenly I was at 670k! :dunce: After climbing up to about 800k it's decided to revert back to 670k now. I'm not rushing to get the Pagani Huayra anyway.

Aside from that small bug (that I assume is just Autolog struggling with the suddenly influx of European players), the game is great! Nothing to complain about except for how easy it is to take down the Blacklist. The cops just bully the Blacklist racer while I cruise past with a Maserati GranTurismo that is built like a tank. Also the pursuits are really enjoyable, especially since you can change your mods on the fly.

Don't want torched off everyone (Although I'm sure you might agree to an extent AOS) but The Run does have some advantages over this. Soundtrack, presentation, everything BUT the driving. Normally gameplay is king but identity really is lacking! NFS has relied on stellar shows on the presentation front for games like SHIFT II(Cinematic presentation, nuff said.) and The Run (Racing head-to-head in the middle of an avalanche? AWESOME) so it seems to me Criterion have said we make awesome driving physics so there, thats all you need. We will throw in an abundance of red and white cause it's our logo's colours too. :sly:

In all honesty, I'm gonna be playing this for AGES. It's really really good, the online and autolog are worth it alone. The competitiveness is gonna keep me coming back!

In a way, this is your iRacing for arcade fans. You get the fundamentals. Nothing else.

Oh, and I urge everyone to add me, need to fill that autolog! :D

To me the offline is a waste of space. It serves no purpose. Online doesn't use any unlocks from offline & online is 100000 times more fun than offline. Plus the online challenges to unlock stuff are a lot more deserving than the measly offline challenges and Powershot Nitrous actually is usable online. Offline it's a useless mod.

Oh & we can pick colors online... when we unlock them of course. So offline is a waste IMO.

To add the damage online is much more extensive than offline. Online wheels bend & parts of the car get ripped off.

I must be pretty simple minded then, i'm loving offline. Just roaming the city, drifting, hooning around, switching cars when I come up on them, Raptor one minute, then a LF-A the next and getting in cop chases.

BTW, Nice racing online earlier with you and Wicken. Was still getting used to the controls having drove the Atom for my first 3 hours or so offline. Thats why I had to leave the room. :dunce:

Not that I need exact coordinates, but can someone who has all 3 locations unlocked for the following cars tell me the locations they're found in according to easydrive?

-Corvette ZR1
-Ford GT
-Jaguar XKR
-Aston V12
-Audi A1
-Dodge Challenger

Thanks.

Also for your jack spot hints try the airfield and the park. Those where I found my last ones. 98% done

That didn't really answer my question. :indiff: I'm only asking that someone hook me up with the district location found in the easydrive when picking a car from a specific location. I only have 2 of the 3 for each car listed above. I have 6 cars in and around the airfield.

The Atom is fun but the Mono to me feels like the biggest turd ever. It drives like it has a case of mono.

 Will have to give that a shot then! Was having a go of the SLS before heading to sleep and finally started grasping drifting in a car that isn't a formula 1 racer's deranged cousin. 👍

Mother of God, anyone try the SRT Viper. The sound and shifts are breathtaking :) And Autolog steals 300k Points off me **** I was at 1,017,843 now im at 897,040

There's way too little interaction here. While it's still early, everyone's just playing their own game. That's boring!

I'm going to set some beast time on Mud Bath and then I want you guys to try and beat it.

wicken
All of them are in the mobile version including the Hummer H1, not sure about the other platforms.

(Go to 18:07 and 18:15 and they are there, BMW M3 GTR is definately there)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be picking this one up soon though.

I think my time is like 1:05.05 on that with the Impreza. I came really close to that with the Delta.

It should come back. It always does for me.

PS. Don't forget to set your picture on the autolog site. No one wants their crappy console avatar showing up on their friend's boards.

Has anyone who pre-ordered from Amazon recieved their game yet? My Cousin pre-ordered it for me but it hasn't come yet. Status yesterday said "out for delivery". My Dad said a truck came down our road in the morning but didn't stop at our house. Maybe it'll come today or Monday (really hope today).

It lost the story, which was fundamental to the original. Maybe add this to MW 2012 when you are entering Fairhaven.

To be honest, I found the stories of just about any iteration of NFS to be, and I put it nicely: cheesy. Rather no story than a crappy one in my opinion. ;)

I already have them saved.

And I don't have the game yet so these are pretty much useless to me as I'm not familiar with any of this. But I'll try my best to search for everything on my own before resorting to these.

Must. Resist. Clicking. Links.
You can resist, try to find all the collectibles on your own. If you are stuck in 1 or 2 in the end then you can just check the maps.

Indeed, it was a fun multiplayer racing and beating you guys with my Lamborghini Gallardo sure was fun :D

same here!!

I'd lost about 100K after playing on night one, came on next day to a bonus 200K which had come from nowhere which I must have been losing without noticeing.

Also, to echo what was said about the Viper it's a really decent car for me. I found it quite early on and it was probably the first time I really felt like I was getting the physics where the previous 3 or 4 just weren't quite sitting right for me.

Man, I hate playing MW online with randoms. Heres why; everyone trys to take you down if you're better than them. I beat pro modded Veyrons with a Avantador with Burn Nitrous. Then, on the way to the "Power Parking" challenge, everyone was ramming me, shunting me just because I was better than them at just about everything. I left after that challenge.
