Pro mod challenges online unlock for every single car BUT you still have to unlock the individual mods for each car tho. So, you get Burn Nitrous for every car off the bat. If you unlock the Pro version with one car it unlocks it for the 40 others.

Try the Impreza. It should be able to own that event because it has max offroad stats & it's acceleration is just a tad less than the LF-A & GT-R plus it has superior control than them also. I tried but traffic had other plans for me so I rage quit but I did manage a 3:06.27 on a meh run.

When you drive down the dirt slope, how are you managing your nitrous? For me, I used all I had (about 3/8th of a full bar) going down the slope once I land the jump, aim directly for the check point and boost until I hit the first set of train rails causing the car to jump up. This let me get boost from air time as well as reducing any drag from treading the off-road surface. Then I would burn the rest on the way to the bridge trying to keep my speed as high as I can for the rest of the dirt section.

I think I've figured out an ideal line for the last bend into the sharp corner, but I've only pulled it off once only for the 2nd lap to get ruined.

I boost thru the warehouse section & stop once I jump over the road. I get a full bar or near a full bar going down the dirt hill & use the nitrous once I hit the bridge at the train tracks making me fly out onto the road doing about 160MPH. The best way I see tackling that section & the Impreza makes it so much faster.

The final corner & the one going into the warehouse are evil. I just brake & e-brake tap to make them. < That's some old school BP s*** there.

I pre-ordered the game, got it on friday night, then havn't had time to open it :(
Any tips ? (I hope to start it tomorrow night)

Just have fun. If you're a fan of collecting things i.e. Jack Spots, Billboards, Sceurity Gates, I suggest going after those. If not, try out the multiplayer, I heard it's fun. You can also change the lettering on your licence plate if you're online.

Also, I found the last security gate, near one of the Camaro ZL1 Jack Spots. Just a few more cars to finish their races with and then I'll move on with the rest of the Most Wanted List.

A few security gates are missing on the checkable map i've setup a few hours ago, the map is public and editable (see link in my signature, anyone can use it). Any help and feedback is welcome :)
(currently doesn't work on ipad but i'm looking into the problem)

To me the offline is a waste of space. It serves no purpose. Online doesn't use any unlocks from offline & online is 100000 times more fun than offline. Plus the online challenges to unlock stuff are a lot more deserving than the measly offline challenges and Powershot Nitrous actually is usable online. Offline it's a useless mod.

Oh & we can pick colors online... when we unlock them of course. So offline is a waste IMO.

To add the damage online is much more extensive than offline. Online wheels bend & parts of the car get ripped off.

I beg to differ, from my experience online so far (and I could be wrong) the main selling point of Most Wanted is non-existent in multiplayer, and that is cops. I can some what believe it as I assume that dozens of AI police vehicles online have the potential to lag the game out, HP2010 didn't have this issue as the police in multiplayer were filled by players instead of AI. The other thing is down the road when the multiplayer severs and Autolog are taken down, single player will be the only thing left.

As promised, I have a chalenge for you all to try and beat, I sought to aim fastet but my patience was running low so I settled onthis time that included 2 crashes. Try and beat this:

Import Duty: Lexus LFA: 3:11.27

Use whatever mods you want. Be sure to share what you used. For me:

Off Road Pro
Burn Pro
Lighweight Pro
Aero Body Pro
Short Gears Pro

3:08.03 in the GT-R.

Off Road Pro
Powershot Pro
Lightweight Pro
Aero Pro
Long Pro

I settled on 3:12.05 in the LFA with no crashes. I could (and nearly did) beat your time AOS, but I was crashing more where I was losing patience with the car.

This is one of my complaints, it's kind of silly that you can't have upgrades so when you play say a takedown challenge you have guys running reinforced chassis and so on meanwhile I have lightweight or normal and it's just not fun at all.

I'm very disappointed with the public online, is there a any way to get race only Speedlists or something because the little challenges are just a complete mess and remove almost all player skill (not completely, but for example I can never get a good run on longest drift because I'm constantly being smashing/people getting in the way meanwhile one guy gets a clean go for 30 seconds by luck and therefore wins). I expect this, but I also expected some option for more serious players who don't want to do these mini-games and want some real competition.

I'm thinking it may be worth setting up a page specifically for races, a sort of Most Wanted Racers Association. Anyone interested?

The races are meh. They will really never have the pure fun that HP3 had. I see no epic 1 v 1 battles for first in this game.

The cops are only fun on higher heat levels & it's a chore to get them that high since they always start off at level 1.

PS. The game's major selling point is the online competitiveness not the cops.

How the **** do you beat the ambush I the Ford Raptor? Seriously...

But I only need one more Tesla, one Caterham, and one more SLS and I've got every jack spot and I triggered the rest of the cameras today.

Oh and Classic, I DESTROYED your time I the last speed test in the Agera R. ;)

Hey, I haven't started trying to set good times yet. Completing the game first. ;)

I'm thinking of getting this game... Mainly for the awesome sounds ;D

Would you guys say this game is worth the money? Also, are the cop chases good? I love a good cop chase!

IMO, it should have been priced at $29.99 or something. It's just not worth the $59.99 asking price.

Cop chases are good, but at heat level 4/5 the cops start rubber-banding and it's very hard to lose them

Close-minded, are we? :sly:

Also, good time there, SkylinePhony. I see you there. Darren too. Thanks for taking up the challenge.
I'll try hitting 3:06 soon.

Yes. Go for it. One of the most fun experiences you will have all year and if you choose to stick around this thread it will improve your experience 10-fold!

Everyone here is hyper-competitive!

Tip: Don't go seeking for your "elite" players just yet.
 I know

Importing it won't help? The PS3 is region free afterall.

Considering how only 3 people bothered taking up my challenge, I really don't see how this is so.

I think that right now because the game is still 'new' everyone is trying to get to grips with the game, just playing through it and honing their skills. I give it 2 weeks till the training wheels come off and everyone will be desperate to challenge your times. 👍

You serious at Heat Level 6 i got away with 10 cops behind me :P simple bro,
Fast and the furious style and i used a Focus RS

Could run in to trouble with online passes and in the future DLC as well, could also be legal issues which may increase the cost or create other barriers (it's likely that the cost is high due to import tax as it is).

I was sceptical going in to this game but I'm very happy overall with the single player experience. Though it may not be the longest in terms of getting to the top of the list (excluding friends) to get everything in the single player will take a good while. At first it did feel a bit odd in terms of physics, but doesn't take long to adjust but it remains challenging.

My only complaint really is the multiplayer matches, more specifically the lack of any sort of filter and the lack of online police chases of any variety (Hot Pursuit style). The other online features, centred around autolog and the leaderboards for nearly everything however are really good.

I just had my first fully fledged pursuit (i.e. trigger in free roam with the intention of wrecking them) which went up to heat level 6, it gets pretty damn awesome. I used a Raptor and just trashed them for a while up to around 50,000sp circling the freeway, jacked an Agera R from the side of the road and proceeded to almost immediately lose them by coming off the freeway and weaving my way through the canyons. I'm finding the slower cars much more fun then the hyper fast Agera/Veyron and such, similarly not using track tyres is alot more fun and both of these facts hold even more true in pursuits as you can drift circles around the cops and never get wrecked.

I was surprised by the Marussia B2. One of the first cars I found and I've fallen in love with it. Great looks and great speed. Used it for the first 3 Most Wanted races to win the cars.

I really like the game though. I love the V8 Atom as well and great to finally have it in a game.

It does have the increase nitrous charge if you're far behind, meh w/e. Also the Instant Takedown thing is OP. I clipped a mirror on someone doing 1MPH & they died.

I Agree with you^

Anyone have a favorite speedlist? So many choices it's hard to figure out what to put in my custom list to start.

I think this game is well worth the money, best NFS game that feels like a true NFS since a long, long time (even though it's basically BP 2 :P). 👍

Considering how only 3 people bothered taking up my challenge, I really don't see how this is so.

I usually try to balance autolog challenges with career progression. I suspect it will change to mostly autolog challenges after I did all the career missions.

Love the autolog in this game BTW, it's great to see new challenges and better times set every time you log in. 👍
