Of all the cop cars they could model, they included a VOLT?! There's no hope in hell that'll keep up with anything.

Can't wait for the Volt :sly: Dart would make sense if it was the SRT. And if it actually had competition.

So the racers are going to have the Cayman and Boxster?

Yurp

I have a hard time believing the Dodge Dart and Chevy Volt will be cop cars, espcially considering racers get a Porsche Cayman S for the starter car, and the Alfa 4C seems a little lightweight for a cop car. The rest seem pretty believable. I would've thought the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package would make a good DLC car for the racer side.

This seems believable, but... The Jaaaaaaag XKR-S is for both, cops and racers. Now, they said that only the Vanquish would be available for both, so unless they changed their minds, it doesn't look possible. Also, the Dart and Volt don't fit the game whatsoever. The rest seems to be real. Also, weird that the Boxter will also be for the racers, doesn't make much sense, but whatever. Sad that we will only get the Diablo, and no Countach. I also expected an Audi for the cops, since we only have the R8 for racers. But this still needs confirmation, so it's too early to say anything. I also expected a Rebels pack like in HP - cop cars for racers, racer cars for cops. But we'll see.

No Model S or F Type?

Really?

Also, I was expecting the S7, Spano, California or even the Huracan.

Also, looks like Forza's LaFerrari deal is done.

I'd love to see a RCPD Rebels pack that uses decommissioned cop cars like the Agera that you use for one SpeedList.

I think it was the Ghost UK team who is reported to do the rumored Underground reboot.

They said if it will sell 15 million they will make it for Underground. Either way, with ghost and Criterion both getting layoffs resigning I think there won't be much of DLC, (Since they did say future unannounced NFS title is on hold and Next-gen game is also on hold)

Nice car choices! Although I doubt the Volt and Dart will make it. It'll be better if the lower ranked cars get high lvl pursuit tech. That way I can effectively chase high end Racers(P1 Enzo Huayra etc) with the M6 and GT500 and so on.

🤬!

🤬 🤬 🤬

Got into a nice long pursuit thanks to spamming OverWatch Repair and got to Heat 10 pretty quickly. I wrecked over 100 cops and was nearing on 2 million SpeedPoints. Wasn't planning on stopping till I got either 200 wrecks or 3 million SpeedPoints.

And then the game 🤬 crashes!

ARGH!

No Zonda?! I'm sad. :(

On a serious note, I'm taking this information with a grain of salt, because I'm unsure if this is actually legit. (Although, last February, we had information leaked about Most Wanted DLC packs and they ended up releasing those packs at the end of the month.)

Finally!

Making these games keep talented people employed. I wouldn't celebrate firing people.
I'm stilling really enjoying Rivals on PS4, moved on to the cop career. IMO it's the best NFS in years (looks awesome) and I hope to enjoy arcade racers in the future (the crew). Those who don't like this franchise can play GT6 or Forza. :)

the new nfs team has not been touched it was the old Criterion team that was let go. nfs is not going any were I hope it needs at least 2 development cycles it don't need to die for a while. we would have one acaded racer that would stink. underground 3 by nov 2015 I hope. i'm glad Criterion is out of nfs to me they ruined nfs by making nfsburnout's.

Ghost Games UK, the studio made up mostly of former Criterion (Burnout, NFS: Hot Pursuit) devs. All artists had been let go but coders retained for help on other projects within EA, I was told

I'm w/ ya Ron! I think Rivals might have been in development for 2.5 yrs. I'm all for Underground in 15. By then Ghost should be able to make these new systems really sing. They might even be on Frostbite 4 by then!

I would rather have a new Most Wanted/Carbon/Undercover than an Underground. I don't see how people found Underground really appealing. I think the height of the franchise was at Most Wanted.

Same here. While Underground was fun, it felt really different to the high speed cop chases of previous games. Most Wanted was the perfect combination of customisation and street racing, as well as police chases.

Ghost's interpretation of what Underground should be is what i find exciting. Or should i say Craig Sullivan's vision.
I know some dislike Craig but i think he is a huge fan of classic sega arcade racers and thats why i like him. Same is to be said about Alex Ward. Those are the only guys who carry the torch.
Im sure it would be a contemporary spin. Except I hope they leave out the horrible story dialog like Rivals.
Racing through urban enviroments powered by Frostbite 4 sounds very exciting it me.

because it was something different it was my favorite along with high stakes mostwanted 05 and carbon. I agree take the best of them games and make a great nfs. but for the love of god give us races that don't involve cops every single frigging time. like cabon would be good.

Seeming as you hate S:censored:terion so much, you'll probably like BlackPanthaa's videos. He hates them (and Creative Director Craig Sullivan) just as much as you do.

I've Seen his videos, I can't say I totally agree with the guy on every aspect or front, don't wanna get to political but I feel Need for Speed Undercover was Trash and Midnight Club LA from Rockstar LA Crapped All over it, besides the most recent iterations of the franchise I only remember two or 3 I have completely no interest to Playin, 1st being Porsche Unleashed because I pretty much disliked the visuals on every Porsche created up till its release, so the idea of spending an entire game with them made me vomit in mouth a little. I don't care how well they handled, I've softened in my latter years I do like the RSR from The Run and the GT3 or GT2 model, but thats it. I got out of that Caymen in rivals as soon as humanly possible! Need for Speed V- Rally do not like Racing on Dirt Except for maybe GT3 every codemasters game with rally I've ended up hating, the dirt sections on Forza Horizon I hated too. The Need For Speed I liked but hated at times because it handled really bad in the original viper, I played all of them although I've liked some more than others even Prostreet had a host of handling inconsistencies not worst than Shift1- to Shift 2 in my opinion but broken all the same. I loved Dragging on Both Prostreet with Glitches, Underground 2 and Underground 1. Altogether I believe a happy medium can be had between "Most Wanted/Carbon", "Underground1&2", +oldskool "NF1-NFS4" its just the developer that keeps missing to point all these ideas could be incorporated into a single game to which each person could play in there own style to each others content.
