Knowing if a lobby is in race or in practice before entering?
Remembering our choice of track / category in the lobbies?
More information about other cars in VR? (when they are pitting, time difference)
Too ambitious I know.

I swear today was the wrong day to look at GTPlanet. We're finally getting something big by the looks of things, hinted by the dataminer himself, and people still joke around, trying to be witty, but it's seriously getting old and only tells us that these people are only posting out of spite.

Once we get said "something big", people will still find ways to bring the mood down. Is this what it's come down to? GT7 brainwashing everyone to mindless monkeys that see no hope or light at the end of the Trial Mountain tunnel.
True but I feel if it was the other way around, most of us would be making almost completely unrealistic predictions and considering what we have seen from PD so far, it’s quite difficult to suggest anything different (this is my opinion at least).

Honestly I don't think any of you even want this game to be good. You're following it out of sheer spite, hoping it'll crash and burn.
Because what this game really needs is a full revamp of the singleplayer career mode, anything else simply won't cut it.

Which would be something actually large, like a Spec 2.0 update, which would warrant a proper announcement with a proper trailer. Not something that we would only take knowledge of it being worked on because a leaker found out about it.

So yeah, following it out of spite is actually a proper term for it, given how much infuriating it is to look at how much potential of this game is simply going to waste.

Even if it was any of those things its before the general time for announcements anyway? It's actually quite pathetic to just sit here and doompost all day because of how much you hate something. So many better things to do with your time.

Remember that whatever data-mining reveals doesn’t have to manifest in the next update or soon or even ever.
That’s why I find these tweets more annoying than anything. Just tell us what you found and we’ll draw our own conclusions, but don’t build up expectations like that in a community that is a bit starved for content right now.

Could potentially lead to disaster.

My fingers are crossed, but my expectations as always in check.

Nenkai usually don't talk for nothing, if he said it's the biggest update we ever had, we can at least expect a decent update or something that will make most of the community happy.
Honestly, I'm expecting endurance races and a new track this month.

Great way to ensure whatever way that data is accessed is promptly blocked off.
It's no secret they're aware of what he does, there have been direct responses to some of his tweets calling out certain bugs.
The fact that he's as careful as he is with what he says is something they're likely rather grateful for, and little information from an outside source is better than no information from any source.

No, because datamining is unethical activity, and should never result in dataminers revealing content that's yet to be announced. Datamining itself is not unethical, and people will do it regardless. But revealing upcoming content directly harms the developers and the marketing and sales of their product.

You're out of your mind if you think it's the right thing to do.

As Nebuc said, the benefits of datamining lie in sharing updates for people, should the official sources be morbidly silent. In a way, datamining can actually be helpful for the community, but sharing something definite without the developers' consent would almost be like spoiling an upcoming movie's plot to the public. When that happens, if someone would be displeased with what they've heard, they wouldn't buy the tickets to the cinema and the producers would then lose money.

As for you, GlamFM, you go ahead and poo my posts for no reason. What have I done to you?
PD pulling the undeniably based move of adding an ambulance to GT broke too many Sport mode-infused brains.

Maybe the horses have bolted and graze on a pasture very close by, watching to see if it may be worth coming back? Many have said before there have been 18 months to apply simple fixes which would change everything. PD - for whatever reason- haven't. When you have players alienated, a lack of positive expectation is certain when the well has been so dry for so long

Still doesn't mean you willingly post all these low-as-dirt expectations, especially when a bigger update is coming.

1) if there was form for greater expectations, I'm sure more excited posts would happen. Direct me to the last super update of this kind. 2) when is this update coming? I don't see a confirmation...

Oh, so just because nenkai shared the news, it means the update must come out next thursday? As I also pointed out above, you should never reveal any yet-to-be-confirmed information.

My expectations are also tempered, but there's nothing gained by complaining about an update we know little about other than that, in at least one persons eyes, it's a big one. Let's just wait and see shall we. It might not be enough for some, but I'm sure others will love it.

Dunno man. Nenkai has shared exactly what he found numerous times.

Anyway. We’ll find out soon enough. I’m hopeful.

I will move on now since I find you overly aggressive and condescending and most importantly not fun.

Peace.

That's a bit hypocritical of you to say.

But I do hope you move on this time, and don't go pooing posts I made months ago, which had nothing to do with you either.

I'm not the one who said the update is coming, you did. I don't see a confirmation, which is a fact, not point scoring post.

I don't really see complaints, people predicting low impact content based off past form? That I do see, for me, I foresee a lazy port of Sport assets once that game is switched off. I would like to be wrong, however, my expectations are not being raised by a company who seem to have little care for their audience.
