A new TVR will be launched at LAA Show in London on the 11th December, called the Sagaris, it is an evolution of the T350 and will be powered by a 400bhp version of the Straight Six

The following was taken from Pistonheads.com

'The new TVR Sagaris will be seen for the first time ever in the Live Action Arena at Earls Court on the 11th December, 2003 and can be seen until the show closes on Sunday 14th.

The car, a development of the T350 coupe has been designed with endurance motorsport in mind. Destined for the race tracks of the UK and Europe next year, the Sagaris is a T350 which has undergone major development to address the needs for greater aerodynamic stability and downforce.

It has a wider track than the T350 is powered by a 400 bhp version of the Straight Six engine. Like the T400R/T440R, the Sagaris will make use of plenty of carbon fibre inside to give that racing look and to keep weight down.'

Will post more pics when I can get them, until then have a look at the arty pic.

I'll have to wait to some real pics before I judge it. TVR stylin never has ever really done it for me. Who knows the real thing might look really cool.

I like this new TVR, but I still miss the Speed 12 prototype, but anyway, how much is it when they produce it.

No official piccies until the 11th, will post them when I have them along with any spec details.

Prices being quoted at approx £50,000 at present, TVR are saying they have about a dozen orders already.

Very nice looking car, but what is the engine's aspiration?

Also, does anyone think it somewhat resembles the 350z, or is it just me?

It's a TVR, so it'll be NA.

Yep, although when TVR Germany get hold of it you never known what is going to happen.

They slapped a supercharger on a Tuscan R, getting a power hike of 100bhp.

Un-officially called the T550R only one exists at present.

Hold on, someone please tell me I'm getting hold of the wrong end of the stick. TVR haven't been bought out by 'zee' germans have theyor are owned by them e.g. VW?????:nervous:

Don't panic Wee_man, the work was done by the official TVR importers in Germany.

TVR is still very much English and independent, Peter Wheeler sell to the Germans, he would rather eat his dog.

He stopped using Rover V8's because BMW bought Rover, so don't worry.

the intertakes on top of the wheel arches look weird. Would they try somthing apart from teh dippy bonnet and neon like lights plz

The intakes above the wheel arches are for brake cooling and I like the 'swoopy' lines.

:embarrassed: :D .
Thank god!!!
It's really one of the only true British car manufactures left. It seems virtually every other British sports car manufacturer has either sold out or gone bust :( . Very nationalistic me.
I have to say I love TVR's new direction and would actually prefer one over a Ferrari or Porsche any day! Very intersting though. The T440R is currently at Le Mans and it sounds like it's going to have it's littlt brother join it a well :odd: :D , or if not in National and international sports car racing as well!!

Been there done it scaff, cheers for the link btw;) :D .
Hopefully they might give a bit of a mention to it on topgear on sunday, if it's on. Wonder when they're going to kick in production with it? I'd love to see what the new stig can do with it round their test track.
