NEW air of exp experiment again!

purpose: what helps increase career bar?

current premises:
1. got 4 bobs that are all level 31. (via doing one 24hr n-ring races).
2. we all know that remote races dont do jack for carerr bar.
3. we all see that 1 of our bobs, often our first bob will have a higher career bar due to obivous only driver to use at the beginning of b-specing, and often just grinding him till we need to use the 2nd one or more in event that required mulitple drivers.
4. we have seen people claim getting this trophy low as 150 races to 700 races.
5. 1 races = 1 bspec day.
6. each bob has arrows that point up/neutral/down... indictating predicted performance.

experiment:
do sunday cup: tsukba in X1, with any of the four bobs that have an arrow pointing upward.

hypothesis: maybe bob get the trophy and fills the career bar faster if the arrow is pointing up... obvious if pointing downward, maybe requiring more races.

side note. maybe all the people who get the trophy in ~200-300 races is because the arrows? hmmmmmmm.

update:

200 bsec races done with 4 drivers with arrows only pointing up or at least neurtral if all drivers dont have the up arrow, NO remote races.

bar looks 2/5th full. looks like the magic 500 number will be estimated number of bspec races to get the trophy...

I don't know, got the trophy when my Bob got to level 35, at that time I only had one Bob, dunno if that helps... and the arrow was down if I remember correctly...

That being the case, your career bar would be a lot fuller than 2/5, no?

As said in the other thread you started on the air of experience trophy, maybe the people who got it in 300 races neglegted to mention that other drivers had run the other 200 races, which would still qualify as aging your main b spec driver by 1 day.

BTW - Why not keep it all in one thread?

Each of my Bobs (6) have over 700 races and I don't have the trophy. Their number of wins is pretty low though. I wonder if this counts?

OMG! :boggled:

Remote races don't count.

I beg to differ, I've watch 5 of my Bobs move up 2 levels, and 2 of them to Level 40 and the experience bar has moved ever closer to full on my first level 40 Bob. Though, I don't think it moves it as much as normal B-Spec, I do know it does indeed move it and all of there races have been remote races for the past few weeks.

The experience bar looks different to me depending on the screen. For example the bar on the "My Driver" Screen is different from the screen where you actually click on the driver. Then its different before you select the driver before the race. Tell me I'm not crazy.

You will know when your about to get the trophy because you BOB's stats will have white bars meaning they are deteriorating. Once those bars show up the trophy is near!

You're not crazy, it's like that for me also:) and I've noticed the white bars at the ends of some of bars on my level 40 Bobs

I use a second account for remote auto-grinding and none of them have anything on their career bars.

I'm also of a mind that A-Spec racing advances the career bar, purely because it's the only explanation for the A-O-E to be achieved with so few B-Spec races by some people.

Got the Trophy now. :D:tup:

Grinded the Sunday Cup/Tsukuba with the X2010. 1 race in 2,30 min.

My driver has now: lvl 35, 366 wins & 489 races

I have to admit that i did also some remote races with the driver. So if the remote races don't count for the career bar, you need maybe 50 races less.

Note: there is something wrong with the stats bars. The full overview for all your drivers shows the correct bars. If you click at one of your drivers, the stats bars in the popup window are not correct.
