He's actually a very popular choice for taking over as Bond once Daniel Craig leaves the roll.
Nothing has been announced. The producers haven't even given a date for shooting to start (though unofficially, 6 December has been pencilled in). They are generally loathe to reveal details before the press conference announcing the start of shooting.Could production retread and go back to someone else, like say BMW? I do agree however, that EON's time with Aston Martin is pretty much through, and the switch could be made to Jaguar.

Although I wouldn't mind Bond back to BMW, especially if he were to use the 4 Series.
Cannonball RunI don't think Roger Moore ever drove one
It hasn't always been an Aston. It was only introduced in GOLDFINGER, and made sporadic appearances throughout the series. I don't think Roger Moore ever drove one, while Timothy Dalton only drove one in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS and Pierce Brosnan had one as his daily drive for three films. As for Daniel Craig, he has driven Fords and Volvos when he needed to go incognito, and a Jaguar in SKYFALL for government business. So it's by no means guaranteed that he will drive an Aston Martin.
Pretty much. He comes across as a bit of a dandy, which is a difficult sell given that OHMSS took the character in very different directions - he does, after all, get married. The film really needed Connery to make it work, or at least have Lazenby do one film first.I think from the moment Lazenby emerged from the sea and said something along the lines of "I bet the other guy never had this much trouble", it was doomed.
The timeline is pretty straightforward: CASINO ROYALE is a complete do-over. Everything from DR. NO to DIE ANOTHER DAY was forgotten, and the films started from scratch. Dame Judi Dench was kept on-board so that there were some familiar elements, but the films otherwise tried to establish an origin for Bond (with mixed results; QUANTUM OF SOLACE was a confused mess) before new characters were introduced. The original plan was to bring them back one at a time, but after QOS, the decision was taken to bring Q and Moneypenny back into the fold whilst scripting a change of M.As for the Q thing. I haven't followed the recent films close enough to understand the timeline to be honest, I wasn't a fan of Skyfall either.
It's always an Aston Martin, it match the Bond character so well

If it were to change from Aston Martin, I really can't see it being anything other than a Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley or Range Rooney.
If it were a McLaren then Ron Dennis should be Q.
I was very sad when Desmond Llewelyn left the series (ultimately wouldn't really have happened any differently I guess), and the boy they have playing Q now is pretty annoying - as was much of Skyfall - but if Big Ron turned up as Q... well, I'd put down my popcorn and leave.
I very nearly did when that lad said he was Q.
Q is supposed to be a Desmond Llewelyn type. John Cleese did it well.
Ron Dennis should be Q.
Die Another Day is one of the worst Bond films.
It's just a shame he got two of the worst films the franchise has seen.
However TWINE and DAD are great films! DAD was the first one I saw in the cinema as a kid and made me fall in love with the original Vanquish.
Die Another Day is one of the worst Bond films.
Noel and myself are not having that.
