Don't be idiot please, not all GT_BOCA use this and it's just some test, I mean before i don't know this cheat and not use at all, I'm Gt_boca_cobra and never use that and I will never use that in future, I'm not defending my team i find that no fair and not cool at all, so not put all boca in same bag

Hey Akashi... I've raced Momo >50 times, he's always been very fast and very clean... one of the guys I most enjoy racing against.
I'm very surprised he would choose to use this glitch/bug... it's always bad for a team when one driver chooses to do something outside the rules whilst wearing the tag. Would be good for the Boca team to speak to him.
At the top end of S/S, there should be no need for stuff like this - drivers are already super fast and should not need to use bugs.

Yes, I have to admit I was shocked at who was abusing this glitch in the video in the op. I expected it to be someone I've never heard of doing it just to keep pace with the fast guys, like out of desperation to have a shot at winning. Then you look at who it is and it's actually someone who easily has the pace to win or at least race competitively at the highest level, so disappointing.
It just goes to show that anyone could abuse glitches and again it now makes people suspect everyone once more, just like with the grip bug.

I don't see anything wrong with legitimate testing. Human nature demands testing and retesting in multiple scenarios. Hell, its the foundation of science!
Its limits need to be found to see how pervasive the glitch is. Only then can it be combatted. How annoying would it be for it to be 'patched' but then found out it could still be done but only if you had a time penalty, or whilst off track or only in 6th position?

"Testing" to see if it works on sport mode... I hope the people who were just testing still went to the pit to change tires after confirming the bug did work and let the people who were not "testing" overtake them. Otherwise is just exploiting. No excuse IMO.

Well I am happy to report that at least in the 3 replays of the races I saved in January are clean.
Also, during pitstops, whilst you can only view your own tires getting changed, you can hear the drill gun being used on the other cars. So this should be possible to spot if exploited on pit entry/exit.

I won't be. I doubt I'll race a tyre wear race until it's patched, I barely did any anyway.
But it does need to be tested in sport mode too. Otherwise it could still exist in some way on there, even if it is fully eradicated on lobbies.
Testers should be a bit more respectful and give back positions at the end of a race but I'm not surprised they don't. I have a low opinion of our species in general.

The only way to test this is at the back of the grid.
Obviously that would tank DR unless you are normally at the back of the grid.
So the only way for anyone to test this is with a sub account at the back of the grid.
The OP video clearly shows it has been thoroughly tested already, not on every single lap, but pretty much so.

There is a big glitch that the top 10 are the used To using for months. He uses soft tire instead of hard tire in the sport mode.
Despite the hard tire displays but it's fake they are je soft tire. It is necessary that PD makes the light on his.

I was in the top 10 at Brands a month or so ago (unusual, but I'm quite good there), I was using Hards and was very close to the very top guys. I just think some people are immensely good.

Have you read the AUP? Either you provide evidence for those pretty bold claims or you'll probably get a warning / ban.
I'm interested to see that because I've been in the top10 (or top1 even) and I do not believe for a second I'm beating people using Soft tires. I know I'm driving with hard tires.
But this is off topic. Open your own thread with evidence for your accusations, please.

Last time I made a bit of a fuss for proof. This will not be the case this time as I consider you a trusted source.
I am very glad to hear they are quickly working on the issue, and thank you very much for telling your inside janitor source or what ever the case may be to get PD info so quickly! I'm very glad we have someone like you on this site so we can make PD aware of issues quickly.
Now we just have to be patient. There is a lot of code for PD to look through. It may take them a little bit to find the error. I wonder if they will turn fuel/wear off tomorrow?
