This cuts your pit time down by 25%. Put racing softs on, refresh tires while out and only pit when you're low on fuel.
Holy ****.
They already banned people for using the pit lane glitch online. It would very interesting to see how they handle this . They need to have substantial evidence to prove the player was abusing the options menu auto drive. I can't think of a way to handle it myself. I would close sport mode races, scrub times and tell gamers an emergency patch is on the way .

My T300 was putting me in the pause menu while turning which is a known issue, replacing the wheel fixed it for me.
There is also a really good chance that this was by accident, if I some went into the menu for another adjustment and they saw the wheels repair, ofocourse using it in races doesn't alter the fact they are now cheating.

With the new events only 1 hour away, I think tomorrow is probably when we'll see some reaction from PD.We'll see how quickly can PD react to these kind of things
I predict they switch it off tomorrow.
I'm not sure they would have time to react this morning, or that any reports would have reached them as yet.
But we'll see soon enough.

I think the grip bug was worse because it only gave certain people an advantage and there was nothing anyone not affected could do to keep pace. At least with this everyone can do it
And thankfully this is blatant, the grip bug was a little more subtle, so you'd imagine a fix should be almost immediate, but Christ, it seems PD fixes one thing and breaks another

We’ll most likely see the end of tire wear and fuel consumption for a while unless they throw a ninja update at us in 32 minutes. They’ve done it before!
I tried it in a test lobby for an upcoming event and it’s ridiculous... Saw a bunch of fast S/S guys use it today... Some to avoid pitting during the qualifier and some to shorten their pit stop...

Hello, to clarify things, I am part of the team GT_BOCA and one of our member shared with us yesterday a glitch so some of us have tried it in every race to see if it worked all the time. There was no desire to cheat but just to try. I posted a message last night to know how to postpone this glitch without making it public because it's really very annoying. Now everyone knows, I hope PoDi will correct this quickly

Doesn’t look good for the team but I understand. I think almost everyone I know has tried it to see if it really does work. Some tried once and some used it systematically in slow corners to get free tires. Hopefully this will not take weeks to be fixed!

To be fair it was probably discovered by accident and probably innocently. Then they told a mate, who told another mate etc. Then one of them told the world.

I don't do many C races anyway but good to know PD is aware at least. Definitely gamebreaking.

Thankfully it was @eAxis Patohm that 'told the world' and didn't feel the need for 'weeks of testing' before doing so.
To be fair, the team racer guy seems to be very practiced at using the bug. I'm hopeful that the team aren't in my January replays that stand out in my mind to go back and inspect.

At least he came in and offered an explanation once the thread was made, remember how certain individuals just flipped the bird at the grip glitch.

This isn't the guy from the video though... this poster may have just tested it but the video guy was exploiting it (or cheating in other words)

I've only seen a few people that have some how gained a lot through the pits or not pitted at all and then set a fast lap but I don't think I've any replays saved to check if they were cheating, unless people were doing it weeks ago, not that it really matters now anyway.
I guess now it's well known though most of the field will be doing it as "you have to because others may do it", so if tyre wear races keep being a thing then I'll be avoiding them all. Which is a shame as they are easily the best races.

What a load of rubbish excuse. I bet you're afraid to face the PD ban hammer. If you just wanted to test it you'd do it in private lobby races.

He isn't admitting anything, he is trying to defend his teammate who was evidently not "testing" but abusing the glitch.
Sorry, I know what you are saying but it's not the case here.
