Normally, I'd agree with you, J8mie about the online deal. However, I don't. I think GT4 was long slated for the PSP, so I'd let them get that done for PSP owners. Unless more negative issues occur during GT5's development, then we should get the game for whenever PD slates it. They will either meet or exceed that limit once we get a better hint about GT5.
Chamberlain Engineering... I remember them from the PS1 version of "Test Drive: Le Mans." The car used was a black Viper with yellow stripes and those extra lights. Maybe I'm a sucker for extra lights on cars in endurance or rally racing. Lights... so... pretty... What was I saying? Oh, yes... I am interested in this driver number deal. Surely NASCAR fans (not to spoil any fun here) will love to paint up cars by their favorite driver's numbers. I can probably imagine a number of #8's racing online if that's true. I'll go with #24 Jeff Gordon, thank you very much. Outside of that sport, I'd go with the number #25. I just seem to have a strange liking for the number 25 and racing.
GTPlanet, I have talked about in the past about having Racing Modifications sort of being piece-by-piece. Now look what we have. I still think we are getting Racing Modifications, just not all-out modificatiions like taking a 1990s Dodge Viper in GT1 and giving it an aggressive racing kit for it. Basically, we could be looking at coming up with our own racing modifications and not GT's chosen renditions of cars. The Racing Modifications between GT1 and GT2 are different. You get many more color choices in GT2 for cars (as opposed to just two for almost every car). Some even have one paint scheme, such as the Peugeot 406, Renault Laguna, and such. What makes GT2 radically different from GT1's schemes is for some cars, you can change different paintschemes. For example, get the Honda S2000 or the Volkswagen Golf (I beleive) in GT2. Get the car and head straight for the Racing Modifications. As you can see, you can select different liveries for some cars. The combination of rear wings and racing numbers will mean that our cars will appear racier and actually SEEM like race cars. It's a step in the right direction in terms of making our tuned rides actually look like they are race cars.
If I never get a chance to do this sometime down the road, I just personally want to thank people like ALPHA, Samberto, and Amar212 among others. You all do such a wonderful job breaking into Gran Turismo news and all. I appreciate your efforts, and keep up the good work.
