Then surely the GT logo wouldn't be there, and it would be the no entry (close game) sign.

I think you should get something like "Exit from the Game" on a crossed circle icon. (daan anticipated me...)

thanks alba for trying to get infos of it. And yes Liège is a great party city. Liked the time i spend there, need to come up again to the carrée

Hopefully yeah, my contact is out of town he'll come back in a few days, once he does I shall get my hands on it :P (If not he's playing a big trick on me and I'll most likely murder him xD)

Best bet is that WRC = Gamescom build I played (where you drive the Impreza WRC and the GT500 on is some asian build where you're driving the GTR SuperGT. That seems like the most logical thing to be :embarrassed:
 
err i'd just like to point out that the PS3 dashboard loads up over a game in progress.

So if the guy was playing and tapped the PS button on the controller, he can pretty much load up any dashboard information he wants, including the Disc Tray game icon, which in turn would be the Gran Turismo Demo mentionned.

Don't be too quick to say photoshop.

Disclaimer; i'm not saying its not photoshop. And i hold no hope of seeing "another" demo before GT5's release, whenever that may be.

I agree, why would PD date a demo like that? It would be like a slap-in-the-face to their fans, who know well how long they've been waiting for this game.

Yeah I think that you are right on the WRC & GT500 vids. Hope you can confirm it latter on.
 
The demo is real, and belongs to a user of a spanish forum, I have been chating with him this morning, he didn`t say much but the demo is in the ring with 12 cars and he can only drive the SLS. He didn`t comment anything of the other options. He also said that the demo only works in special PS3, not in the retail ones. I will keep you posted with any comments he add to the forum.

It is usually the one used by developers and press to try unfinished games (or preview).

Just that this demo with Nurb and SLS looks really like the Mercedes special built version which is playable in germany nowadays till the end of the month.
I dont think its a "brand new" demo, just that Merc' built... No hope to see it on my black box...

Exactly, that´s the name, I didn`t remember it.
 
Oh and these DEBUG versions cannot be owned like this, for those who are still thinking that they might try to get one, it is specially given (well...sold) by sony to developers as a developement kit which can read and edit code(you dont want to know the price, enuf to buy a nice car) and the one to press are almost retail price but these one can just read code (and you must show a specific press card to get it, and its only 1 console per press organization or magazines). I am also not too sure but it might be recquiered to logon a specific server to use it (but definitly not sure)...
 
I think we deserve that demo this thursday. See what easy is to keep us happy hahahaha. The Ring + SLS = hours of entertainment, at least for me.
 
well, it has to be said: hopefully PD will do something about the tumb going through the steering wheel when he shifts...that look soo bad...

It's probably going to end up playing Prologue on the High Speed Ring + SL55 AMG. ;)
