Hello to everyone. I would like to introduce myself to the forum. Although this is my first post on the forum because I have only just registered, I have been aware of GTplanet for about 3 to 4 years, and check the website on a daily basis and really enjoy reading peoples comments and opinions.
How did you find GTPlanet?
I stumbled across gtplanet by looking for information on track maps for the Gran Turismo series of games, so that I could reproduce these circuits using scalextric track so that I could race them for real. I have been hooked ever since
Where are you from?
I live in Kent, England
When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
I have been a fan ever since the first Gran Turismo game was released on the PS1
Do you play with a steering wheel?
No I only have a dual-shock controller
What other games do you enjoy?
I have a huge variety of games that I play as the mood takes me, although my favourites are racing games especially Gran Turismo and the Need for Speed series of games, and also most sports games. In addition I am a big Lord Of The Rings fan hence the user name.
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
Trading cars and racing against other members online using either GT5 Prologue, or GTPSP, or Need For Speed Shift. I try to race as cleanly as possible, but I do tend to be the last of the late breakers and sometimes miss my breaking entry point due to a slight lapse in concentration, which obviously causes me to go off of the racing line and either drift well wide onto the grass, or accidently collide with another vehicle.
If anyone would like to add me as a friend to race against online they are more than welcome to do so, and I look forward to some good race battles online. I am also looking for people to trade cars with for GTPSP to increase my collection of cars as I am currently sitting at around 83 cars.
