To me it's more of a second generation Zonda than a whole new car.
I really really want to like the Huayra... I just can't get round that front end though.
It's got something to do with direct injection and fuel cutoff during upshifts on all these fancy new cars. Sounds like it's ripping ass, and frankly, sounds terrible. They've mentioned it on Top Gear on a couple cars. Apparently they think it sounds good, but it's not an actual backfire. It's more like the engine brake on semi trucks. Why does it blow raspberries on upshift? o.O
That sucker is low.
Too bad none from the front also. I'd like to see how strange the active aero looks.
The front of the Huayra reminds me of this character from star wars.
Lol so true and so ugly, the new lambo for me please!

How do you pronounce that name? I'm just going about saying Hyena instead as I have no interest in figuring out myself.
That's mostly Zonda though.
It is, but you can clearly see design details of the Huayra in that zonda all over the place.

I guess so in the rear clamshell and the front grill.
And the wing mirrors.
I agree though, at first glance, it appears to be one of the many variations of a standard zonda.
I think the mirrors on the mule are straight of a Zonda, the Huayra mirrors are more leaf shaped. There are still a lot of design cues from the Huayra though.

Or let the man hiself say it.
I don't hear him saying that part.
