You can get a McLaren F1 down to the exact weight and horsepower you need for this. I'm not sure how it compares to the R390 though.

I'm going to have to spend some time tweaking it to get it to stick.

The R390 "Road Car" has race car downforce. And since the TT only takes weight and power into account... Point, match, set.
 
I think the NSX LM Road Car is a good alternative to the R390 in case no one has it
 
Fortunately the gold time is dead easy so unless you're going for a top time you don't need the R390.

I must say it's about time we had a wet TT. It's just darn fun. :D

Yeah, I hit gold on my fifth try.... after finding the "red zones" on the track in the first four tries. lol

Actually, the wet TT is for ANY cars and the the dry one is for NORMAL cars:) And in top of that, they're both on Spa!!! I love PD :)

Me too - have B-spec'd Spa forever and have got a chunk of cash that needs to go somewhere.
 
I wonder how many people who purchased Spa feel like they got ripped off at this point.

One seasonal with Spa to give people a taste and drum up sales I can understand..... but this many?

I'm not complaining, it's a fun track, and if it weren't for the seasonals I wouldn't have gotten to drive it.

Everbody who buys the game next week will get it for free anyway so it really don't matter anymore.
 
If somebody have won the wet one please tell me wish car you used because I tried different cars now but it seems impossible to gold for me:indiff:

Edit: I've made it!!! Guess what with car...the Chapparal 2J. 2:31.608, 121st atm. The old soap box did it again! This car is a savior for several races and seasonals :)

what was your setup? i found my chappy wassliding around too much, i switched to the R35 TC and got to within .3 s

I just put the turbo at default, so I had less than 700hp...695 if I remember and the gear box at default too, nothing special. Both breaks at 10, abs 1, and traction control at 8.
 
Just laid down a 2:29.29 in my Nissan R92 in the wet, i might just be the quickest Nissan not shure.

Omg reposted a 2:28.375 and thats with no aids but ABS With a DS3 ,
but not the fastast R92 somone got a 2:25 O.O

man if i took my 2J out id probably get down to a 2:24 easy .

And a 2:28.8 in the R390

good point m8,but you just hit the nail on the head,those people who did not buy "Spa" now can drive it,and because it is such an awesome,beyond stellar track,and because "PD" did such a tremendous job on it,I think most people WILL buy it after they run a few laps on it~[if they have not purchased the "DLC" yet]~I have absolutely no problems with "SPA" being in the "SE",and do not feel ripped off because I paid for the "DLC" and others did not~times are hard & money is tight right now,so if some kid [or anyone actually] perhaps could not find the $$$ to buy "SPA" now they can at least check it out,have a blast,and still have "Lunch Money" [gotta luv that school pizza right!;} besides if you do not own "SPA" you can not run the kick ass "Ferrari F1's" or "RB's" on it..and trust me,if you have not run those babies on "SPA" you are missing out big time!cheers and gr8 racing :)

I didn´t do anything except with the gearbox. I think I had my topspeed at 330 km/h. You have to be very careful with the power and I found it easier with the pad than with the weel to avoid the rear to slip. Its a little like the Loeb special event. Drive slow to go fast. Brake early to hit the perfect way thru the corners.
 
hi guys am looking for a good tune for the TTs in the dry Spa with the R390 where can y go need help tunning this car am currently 260 position but tha was like my first 20 try with 2.27.XXX
