Btw i do the oil change standard, sorry if i miss informd anyone, but the point being is: When a race is 'too easy' use powerlimmiter or an old banger (i like old cars) Greetings & keep up the good work đź‘Ť

I cleared the NĂĽrburgring GP/F round of the Super GT Seasonal Event after finishing 2nd in my first run. I don't know about any of you, but sometimes, I feel like I have to win one event more than once to get revenge and really feel like I've mastered the event. If you think you could have won an event yet failed to, you feel like you have to win it more than once to show that it wasn't a fluke win and that there was never any doubt you can pull it off. It's like when a sports team or an individual wins a championship- can he/she/they win the championship again next time out? With this mindset, I began my attack/revenge. The Motul Pitwork Z wasn't in the race, but the Yellow Hat GT-R was, and it was the leader. I passed him for the lead as I became a little bit better racing the NĂĽrburgring GP track.

Again- I won the NĂĽrburgring GP/F event of the Super GT Seasonal Event, and then won the race the second time for good measure. Won both events with my beautifully blue EPSON NSX.

Don't buy the Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '67, it's a prize for winning the A Spec Indy 500 race :)

Yep. It's faster to win it in the 500 than to grind Sarthe for it, but not by much. ;) Of course if you grind Sarth for it you'll also have 40 helmets. Obviously there is no event in the Super GT series that comes close to the cr/min of Ferrari/Sarthe.

I pulled out the '03 Xanavi GT-R to give it a spin at nurburg. I set the aero to 30/45, turned down the power to 475hp, and made sure it had race hard tires. All suspension and gearing is stock. I knew when I put my foot down that I was going to overpower the event. Even at 475hp it pulled like a freight train. And cornered like it had soft tires on it. I took the lead in turn 1 on lap 3. I was actually wondering if somehow I had turned on SRF until I got a little too happy with the throttle on lap 4 and spun out. Came back on course in 3rd and easily drove back to win by 5 seconds.

I was first like "Super GT? Not intetrested." When I got bored I tried it, I was like "YYYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!" I really like the Eifel circuit track.
This seasonal is better than La festa Cavalliano, because grinding is more fun and races are more tight and exiting.
I prefer driving in a YellowHat YMS Supra.

Honda Mobil 1 NSX '01, detuned to 410BHP, everything else 100% stock. All aids off apart from ABS=1.

Really fun race, made 1 slight mistake which cost maybe 2 seconds, got past him after turning onto the start/finish straight. :D

Yeah I used the Tom's Supra (stock) on racing hards and it was way to easy, lead on the 2nd or 3rd lap every time. I'll try again with something slower (tuned NSX Type R might work?)

Edit: Just am now realizing that you probably MUST use GT cars... well harder tires then.

Believe it or not, just now getting around to this seasonal. I am sorry I put it off so long. Using the Autobac GTR, no additions other than RS's. It has become a top ten in my garage. This puppy has Gecko-like grip. Nurb and 'Seca were a blast. Indy was predictable. Will run the other two after work, then switch to my other account, drop 50 HP and try to tune it to win.

is this set of seasonals broken? i just got around to these... got through the indy one ok... but as i try the ring GT and laguna Seca, it's like my car will be fast for roughly the first lap (and i am competitive), then the power will subside GREATLY.... like 10 second lap difference! which is making it impossible... i've changed cars, gotten brand new cars, refreshed the engines... and raced cleanly (i wanted to make sure i wasn't somehow being penalized) .. still seems to happen...has anyone else experienced this w/ these or other seasonals? i suppose i should try something else to see if it IS just these, or everything...

thanks for any help!!!!

I've just revisited these races after completing them a while back and they are so much fun. I took my Yellow Hat Supra +60kg form a spin with no aides and had 4 races around the GP circuit before I beat the 'Z'.

I know this is an old thread, but I just don't understand why I can't use my new Stealth GT-R in this Seasonal??!! Kind of disappointing...anyway, I'm just venting...

I also tried my new Stealth for this, but oh well, these are easy enough anyway. That I can sort of get since it is not really within GT500 specs after the upgrades. What is stranger is that you can't use the Miata TC in the Miata seasonals.

But what really threw me is the vague thread title. I saw this at the top, and thought "Could it be a new seasonal today?", but not with this many comments already.

I also would really like a new seasonal resticted to GT300.
