The Indy race could be used to gather a good amount of money in my opinion. :D

At one point, I was narrowly losing that Indy event. If you want some more suits, you'll have to run the Cape Ring event multiple times. I have about three million credits at present, so I may consider getting the NISMO Z to add to my Garage.

The reason why I added power to my EPSON NSX was because I feared I may be at a horsepower disadvantage compared to the Supra and the GT-R Super GT cars. I almost sort of lamented not putting in the high-RPM turbo kit for Indy, but with the mid-range RPM turbo kit, it was just fine against the pack at Indy.

How do I get a Gt series car? I want to race the new seasonal event, but I don not have a car to race. I know I can win the Tom's Castrol on my B-spec races. I'm only a level 18 B and a 30 A spec. Can anyone gift me one? My online name is the same as my name on here. speedskillz23

I've got a spare one

Including load times, with slight rounding...

La Festa Cavallino - Sarthe: 4:00 504,000 cr = 126,000 cr/min
Super GT - Indianapolis: . . . 8:00 411,000 cr = 51,375 cr/min

My toughest race was Leguna Seca which I only took the lead at the last corner. The rest were pretty easy. My first run nurburgring gp I press too hard and locked up my brakes which cost me the win. The second run I was more conservative and find it was easier than I first thought. Got the lead in lap 4.
I used stock Yellowhat GT-R'08 without even an oil change with all aids off including ABS.

Added: I tried Leguna Seca again and took the lead toward the end of lap 4 but this time the Nismo Z wasn't the lead car like the last time.

Just done two of these(in my newly acquired Castrol Supra '00) and yeah at Eifel that Xanavi 350Z was quick.I beat it by just over 3 seconds but it was 9 seconds ahead of 3rd.(it didn't feature in the race I did at the Nurb' F1 track.)

Yea, sometimes you need a bit of luck, the A.I. might not be the fastesd but they hardly spin-off track, they overtake (IF! the decide to) with ease because they follow the ideal racing line much tighter than i can. I'm faster in corners (more than on the straights usually) but have trouble when i deviate from my line. This makes it more challenging, wich is kinda okay..., but...
It's been said before -i know- with the set up GT5 uses: roling start, and having to overtake the competition, the racing is less simulation like. If it had standing start and better (faster) opponents, i think GT5 would improve even more.
I sometimes find it frustrating to lose (read get 2nd or lower) mainly because the A.I. slows me down. It's getting a bit repetitive too, this "catch-up with the lead" style of racing.
A bit of change wouldn't hurt imo, Does a future DLC going to have standing starts perhaps? We'll see, in the meantime i'll enjoy GT5 seasonals as is, getting pretty close to 20mil. now -LOL-
Btw the NismoZ destroys the competition -for who ever didn't know that yet:sly:-

Bought the premium Castrol Tom's Supra from the new car dealership for some of these races... I don't know if it's the fastest car but it looks and sounds great, and is balanced incredibly well. Easy to drive, but you can still rotate in the corners, so not too easy.

Yes, La Sarthe is still the Cash Daddy (spent several hours there myself after spending all my cr) but some of it might come down to preference.

Great seasonal event with great money prizes and I just bought three cars from the Online Collectors Dealership: Denso Sard Supra, Pennzoil Nismo and Formula Gran Turismo.

I`m grateful at PD for giving us a nice bonus seasonal this week, but I think the Super GT races are a bit on the easy side, like they were designed in a hurry.

Heck, in some races I could even detune my car and still win driving relaxed. The Ferrari races are much harder as I try to win them using only stock Ferrari cars.

Anyway keep up the good work PD!👍

Grabbed the Petronas Lexus... had been eyeballing it for a while now... and after a little tweaking, love it! Yes it has a turbo, but the gearing adjustment still keeps it on even terms with the other cars. Turned out a 1:22.299, not even sure how that compares but its my quickest solely (thus far) at Laguna Seca. My winning margin has been anywhere from two-hundredths up to bout 5 seconds. That is if I win, I've had to bump & run entering the final corner a couple times now, sometimes with tables turned. Even had a pushing match which saw us both barrel into the gravel... first one out gets the flag 👍

As a side note, I must admit I like these "I'll take no crap from you" AI drivers. Its honestly like being in BTCC or V8SC. Real piss off at times, but gives for some exciting rounds!

I did them once only, has to be the first seasonal I don't like, not sure why I just don't like any of the cars I guess. Oh maybe I just like the nsx lol.

races are at

5 laps of nurburgring gp 522,00 cr same prizes

When i saw "5 laps Nurburgring" i nearly soiled myself because i failed to notice "GP".
I got so excited at the thought of 5 laps on Nur that i threw my kids off the PS only to find it was the short track

eh? I'll have to give that car a try. Never driven it before. had some problems on Laguna Seca myself

why is little difficulty in GT5, I think the competitions are very easy. really like GT5 but this factor makes me upset.

To the people saying they are too easy: Use an un-tuned car or just use the power limiter.

Yea, try them with an old stock car, don't change oil, tyres and other performance enhancing stuff. Makes things more challenging for sure. Seasonals don't get complaints about being to easy, from me. :)

Catching the "Z" with a stock 460 bhp "NISSAN LOCTITE ZEXEL GT-R" at Nurburgring GP/F

Took me a while trying to catch the Z at Leguna with the Petronas SC, switched to WoodOne Supra and took the lead at the last corner on lap 4.

Tuned the Petronas SC suspension & LSD a bit, everything else left stock and comfortably beat them in all other races. Wish we could have tried GT300 cars or there was a GT300 Seasonal as-well

I really like a 'racing' Seasonal Event like this; instead of getting a Prius around a circuit!

And the credits are a help too - I finally reached 2,000,000 credits and bought the Ford historic race car-then went and finally completed the Historic Race Cars
A-Spec event

And it does not seem like grinding; and you can increase your helmet and race suit inventories too 👍

Now to grind to get the Ferrari and Jaguar historic race cars :)

I'm really loving this seasonal. It's the perfect opportunity to use the Nomad Diablo. 👍

Don't buy the Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '67, it's a prize for winning the A Spec Indy 500 race :)
