Yours arrived quicker than mine but I guess that's the difference between shipping to east coast and Wisconsin. It seems a few North American's are tired of waiting and ordered off Amazon.de.
My DRS button broke yesterday. It's still working but the spring seems to be broke, it's activating itself and also when the wheel's vibrating. TM said they'll send a new one tomorrow....man...it's been 5 weeks and that's the second replacement part. One for the T500 itself and now the F1 wheel. Great stuff TM....
Well, now the button seems to have failed completely. I'm hoping that it's working aside from that, playing F1 with the GT rim sucks.
Update: some more buttons broke and the shifter paddle died, too. Yet, I replied to the e-mail I got regarding the first button and they added more buttons and a paddle shifter to my shipment, without even asking. That's great after all.
I'm thinking about using some sort of LED / display, too. Yet, could I just program the SLI-PRO to show the time or something? Not the lap time, just the normal CET time. I'd like to keep the LEDs on all the time, too. Probably at around 20-25% max.
PS3 games don't support it, so for the time being...
Anyone has any idea why Thrustmaster wouldn't release a more advanced rim like this to stores??? Is it really that hard for them to fathom we'd love to have an rpm meter, etc just like the real f1 rim?
Seems to me they could've made a super advanced version that sells for $100 more....
What version of the wheel/pedals has everyone seen with the complete T500 F1 kit? I know we're up to v5 on the T500, just curious if the F1 is shipping with latest also.
