hi i'm paul... gt5 fan!!! but having many problems..

Hi Paul, are you having problems with your qualifiers or just having problems with GT5 in general? If you need help with anything WRS related then if you could ask a question over in the correct thread here > WRS Registry Discussion we'll do what we can to assist you. 👍

Not exactly new around these parts but I hung up my gear a year or so ago. I've been thinking about coming back, so much so that I ordered a new rig this morning for my G27 wheel set. I have an rSeat GTR V2 on the way. So hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get back into things and try out some reginers luck.

Hi everyone! I've been looking around these parts of the fourm but never posted until now. You might know who I am if you hang around the Seasonal TT threads. I'm 16 years old and I'm located near Washington D.C. I mainly use a DS3 but I sometimes bring out my G27 depending on what track/car a TT is at. I hope to run the qualifier sometime within the next month. I look forward to running with you guys.

You here? My DS3 skills will now be nothing compared to yours.
I hope you'll run a D1 time for your qualifier. In this case, I won't beating with ou for the Weekly TT's ahah

Welcome to WRS :gtpflag:

Im Steve, 42 and ive recently gotton into GT5 after being an xbox user for as long as i can remember.

Hoping to do the qualifiers in the next couple of weeks and then work on dropping the racing line and learning about braking points and ideal lines etc and how to go about learning a new track.

Hi Steve, welcome to the WRS mate. I'm Chris  (Also fortysomething :sly:) You've come to the right place to achieve that anyway... Great bunch of guys here. You can always take a look at the events running between now and when you qualify and try your hand at them - although you can't officially compete until you're registered there's no harm in getting stuck in early. Might help you do a bit better in the qualifier too.

If you have a look at my YouTube channel (link in my signature) they're mostly videos of WRS combos we've run and show my submitted laps - you can pick up racing lines and braking and throttle inputs from them which might be of some help getting you up to speed. :)

You'll enjoy running with us I think. Have fun. 👍

Hey there 40-something Chris lol. I'm already enjoying my short time here matey and long may it continue :).

Thanks for the tips about unofficially trying the events until i can become a full member, its definately something i will do as well as doing practice runs on the qualifying sectors. I'll also take a butchers at yiour youtube channel and hopefully i can pick up some tips as suggested Chris.

I was hoping to try out my G27 i brought from E-Bay but it looks like i've been duped as its not as described in the auction so am back to the DS3 controller for the time being while it goes through the complaints process :(

Welcome mate. Glad to see you've come to the light! :sly: haha I'm just joking, don't wanna get into that one. Hope to see you on track soon!

Thanks for the welcome Oink, much appreciated. Yeah it took me a while to come over from the dark side lol, but very glad I did. GT5 is just unbelievable and so much more better value than forza in my honest opinion.

Hey guys just signed up to gtp and made a gtp acc to compete in the wrs. I'm a clean racer feel free to add me psn is "GTP_sKuNkYz" yet to run the qualifier but looking forward to it.

Welcome, this place is full of fast clean racers, you'll fit right in.👍

Hey there everyone finally decided to join in on the fun and submit a qualifier.

Sitting in Div3(provisional) at the moment. I'm pretty happy with that since I only get a few hours of seat time a week and hate the setup on that Benz!

Anyway, cant wait to join the races 👍

Hey Guys.
After many years being busy for the Phoenix Foundation, i finally made it to the GTPlanet

No, seriously.
Here's Tommi from Duesseldorf/Germany...
I'll try to make it short and simple.

- 33 years old
- married
- GT-Driver since GT1 in '98

I am happy to be finally here and I'm really looking forward to be on track with you guys, for some clean, competitive and enjoyable racing.

Again a big hello to the community!
Keep racin'
Tommi

Just submitted my qualification this past weekend.

Had a great time driving around the 'Ring in the Italia, but didn't submit a time since I'm not official yet. For me it was a personal accomplishment to be within 10 seconds of Mike (just barely). :)

This week's TT looks like it will be almost as fun as last week's. Seems like I signed up just in time for some great car/track combinations.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you and hopefully learn from you and improve while having a good time!

Jeff

Welcome mate, I joined about 2-3 months ago and I'm hooked! I have improved quite a bit since joining and the community is full of people to offer advice + tips. So I hope you enjoy it as much as me. Have fun :)

Just Signed up finally! after trying to figure out how to send replays. Thanks for all the help guys! 👍 looking forward to learning a lot from each and everyone of you!
