Hi All,

I'm Dave, AKA Invictus321, 22yo Software Developer from Sydney Australia.

I'm a lover of cars and motorcycles (see avatar), I do some track days at Sydney Motorsport Park (once known as Eastern Creek Raceway) on my bike. I don't have the cash to do track work in a car, so GT serves me well there :)

I played GT1 back in the day a few times, but only really got into it around when GT5 Prologue came out, and have been obsessed ever since. I have been aware of WRS for a while, and finally decided to give it a go this year.

I'm super happy with my week 1 result, and hope to improve over the rest of the year!

Hey guys, woo it feels good to finally be on the registry :D My name's Chris but my online handle 'Tay' has stuck so much that I'll answer to it IRL too haha

I stalked the WRS a bit in GT5 but back then I was more of a career player/completionist than a time trialer or online player. The codemasters F1 games changed that for me as I started becoming a more consistent driver and started joining online racing leagues etc. Then GT6 came along and I quickly realised that the online experience is far superior and I now cringe when playing F1!

So it's GT6 to stay and what better way to improve as a driver than to go up against the best in weekly TTs :dopey:

My new GTP account is quite bare so if any WRSers would like to be PSN buddies, please feel free to send an FR

Hi I'm 38 yrs old I am looking for a league to join I am an above average driver with assist turned off any suggestions

I've played all the the gt games and currently joining the online fun.

Looks like you found the right place to be MikeDoucette, get qualifying and start enjoying the weekly TT's and On-line race meets, you won't find anything better or more professionally run.

OK I've recently joined the WRS at the start of the GT6 registry. I had a go at the GT5 one but I was terrible at the qualifier.
My name is Blake and I am a 13 year old student from launceston (the home of Marcos Ambrose:tup:) in Australia
I look forward to time trialing and racing when possible in the WRS.
And if you want to ad me on PSN send a FR to GTP_TurboSnail as I have a empty friends list 👎:guilty:

Hi
Well, since I have now officially participated in my first WRS TT, I suppose it's time I posted to this thread.

I am Henric, 50 yrs, living in Sweden. My 1st GT game was GT3.
Not until last fall when I got GT5 for my birthday did I realize that ADULTS play these games and call it a hobby. 👍 :D
First I learned to configure my DS3 so I could regulate acceleration better. And I realized I wasn't that bad. Then I got GT6 for xmas. And found that I HATE karts - Which brought me to GTPlanet.

So two weeks ago I got a wheel. It was very weird and difficult to learn how to drive. I turned off aid after aid. Then came WRS Week 3. The last aid I turned off was ASM.
Then I switched to manual transmission. Has my driving improved? Yes.

Hey I'm Stefan Lassen (aka slass89)
I'm new to this and my English could be better, sorry for any misunderstanding!
I really want to get something special out of GT6, so I'm using a Logitech G27. Only thing I miss though is some other people to drive against and not AI. How do I sign up for WRS?

All you need to know is listed in this thread: GTP_Registry Qualifier - GT6 (Submissions Open)

Also, there is a great step-by-step video of how to sign up in here: Step-by-Step Guide to the GTP_Registry Qualifier - GT6

Welcome to GTPlanet :gtpflag:

Hello all of you crazy and happy drivers !!
My real name is Francisco and SERIALF for psn.
I am 57 yrs old, from Portugal, living near Lisbon.
I started messin' around with my son's PSOne and a friends game called GranTurismo. Then I took possession of the hardware and, to make short a long story : GT2, 3, 4, 5 now 6.
I expect to more less play until GT47 :mischievous:
Anyway, I only started doing online this year of 2014. With my old EX wheel (looks like no one uses this, but im so used to it ...), with some extra time I have now, and with the awsome community of GTP:gtpflag: it is going to be fun !!!👍

Hi All, I'm originally from Windsor Ontario, now living in London Ont. Racing has been in my family for years with my uncle running at the local track in the early 60's and 70's and my cousin continuing on until the track closed in Windsor years ago. We'd be at the track every Wednesday and Saturday nights watching the races.

My former GF's son had the original GT and I tinkered around with him, but was not very good at it! (I think he was keeping me in the dark on a lot of things, LOL!!) I recently got myself a used PS3 and found GT6 last week and I'm currently working through all the National B sections. I've learned a lot over the last week, and I still have a long way to go learning how to control the cars, tune them for better perfomance and handling, etc. I managed to get both Nat B and Nat A licences with all gold, and unlocked the online section. I'm looking forward to getting involved in the WRS once my Qualifiers are processed.

Feel free to add me on PSN, user name: BuzzDryver. (Would have used GTP, but my account here and on PSN had already been set up before I knew about the tag!!)

Looking forward to getting online with the group!

Hi, hope I'm not too late submitting my qualifiers. I learned about the WRS through the GTPlanet podcast special episode #4 and will probably start by participating in the time trials until I get my PS3 hard wired to the internet for online races. I recently raced in the 'Zero Cup' but I had a fair share of connectivity issues. Nevertheless, I'm curious to see where I place with my qualifying times. Looking forward to this series.

Not too late. The qualifiers and time trials are open for business. In fact your timing was great... You submitted just before the last batch was processed. You have already been assigned a division and can begin competing officially as of now!

Hey guys, i submited my Time Trials last night, and its going to be awesome to return. I ended GT5 in the WRS with a Division 2 Gold, and i believe i cracked into the D1 with my Time Trials. Hopefully, but either way, doesnt matter where i start just an honor to get back to racing with all of you and have a great Time! Looking forward to learning from some of the Aliens :)

Yes, you're good to go. Welcome!

Hello, I'm new. Just started in March. I've tried two WRS TT's and enjoyed both. First one I put about 300 miles on the car. Last week, I put over 1,000! had a problem submitting my time yesterday, though, so lesson learned: don't wait until the last minute. One question: how do I let the results board know if I'm using a wheel or DS3?

It doesn't seem to automatically pick it up, as some people (like me) just have a question mark by their name.

About me: 50 plus, been into racing mostly my whole life. F1 fan, raced karts briefly a few years ago, went over to Europe and tried a few driving schools but I was too slow. The dollar burn rate outpaced my improvement rate, so I gave it up. Still own a Super Can kart with the best intentions every year of getting it out on the track. Lack of dollars means I do my racing in the living room for now.
