It has the same characteristics as Toscana. Lots of high speed sweeping corners and elevation changes. It pays to be smooth.
Edit: Nevermind checked the leaderboards, it still says its the R34
So are we looking at 2:49's or so as a possibility on eiffel?
We will absolutely see 2:49's. I think for me I'm going to get down to a 2:50, and then leave it.
Disclaimer: I was eliminated in round 1 lol.
2 wheels off is not cheating and is perfectly acceptable in SOME sanctioning bodies. While I haven't seen any laps here because I'm out of the competition (and at work), if people are just getting 2 wheels off thats not corner cutting and not cheating.
That said, just because its the fastest way they get around, doesn't mean its the fastest way around the track. Gotta wait to see the top time at the end for that.
JMO
Tommy, they are referring to four-wheels-off cutting.
Ahh ok, based on TRC_Hunk's post (he seemed to take it lightly) I assumed it wasn't as bad as the 4 offs at Indy.
we may have to restart the entire really long lap
I wouldn't recommend it, as they don't start you far enough back to carry full speed over the start finish. Probably better just to press on and practice the rest of the lap. Also, you start on cold tires that take 1/4 of a lap to warm up to their full potential.
just go back. tires don't need to be warmed up. going back is way faster than doing a whole lap
I have to be in the grove to run a fast one anyways, and I like to practice the whole track evenly. Sure it's sort of frustrating to mess up early in the lap, but running the lap out lets me cool down, practice my lines, and hit the ground running for the next lap.
