With the advent of the C7 and the NSX concept, and new tracks showing up, I think PD has definitely been busy during this long quiet stint as of late. I just hope that they modeled the ZL1 Camaro while they were at Chevy modeling the C7 (may as well). But all this right now is awesome. Bring dem tracks PD. BRING 'EM!!!

By the way, the stadium on the Seattle Circuit, that's still there in real life right?

The sole problem with piazza were the flags. Besides that's just an excuse as what matters is the result, and that is it was on an official trailer and it is not on the game after more than 2 years of its release. Another result would be these 3 to 4 tracks on those 2 trailers never making it to GT5.

No mention of the stelvio pass, no legal or another reason as far as we know, and if the list includes leaked material then it is closer to 10 missing tracks, cars and overall content.

edit: in the end what I want to say is prepare to be disappointed, today and for all gt5's span.

Aha, now I get it, you was just trolling...

My mistake, wont waste anymore time with you.

Do excuse those of us who have a more positive outlook. personally, I'm perfectly fine with getting the new Corvette. All the other stuff would just be a neat bonus. Besides, it's nice to see the community all happy and hyped up. :)

I'm about 90% sure that these tracks will show up in GT5.

Reasoning for my thoughts is the fact PD, being under contract with Sony, can't release any PS4 content to the public.

... well at least it sounds good ...

Yep, besides all the speculation I hope to just get the Vette tonight. I believe the tracks will come tho. In a future DLC.

People talking about trucks and things remember that whilst the trailer is in GT land it's primary function is still to advertise the real car, that means not everything in it is going to be for Gran Turismo. All of that drivetrain stuff is clearly just for promoting the car, it's not related to GT and I doubt whatever you're seeing in that video is either, it's just put together for the car.

No, its Hocheichen and Fluglatz.

in the video they are not separated. And I'll post some shots of that locations for you to see... lol

1 shot: Hocheichen (very clear the differences)

2nd and 3rd shots: Galgenkopf - Schwalbenschvanz (backwards because I was driving for a photoshoot)

4 5 7 shots: Fluglatz (as you can see its not the same...)

They would not be able to show any Ps4 footage but they could just scale. Similar to how premium models will be used again in PS4 but will have better textures etc.

Does anyone know what that tube tunnel thing is....it reminds me of Top Gear for some reason

I'd say we will get a clue about content when we find out how big the patch is after the maintenance.

Even if it contains the NSX and the tracks, they will be held back a couple of weeks and then announced as DLC.

All we get tonight is a C7. The rest can wait.

The size will indeed by a giveaway. Anything more than around 100Mb and we can assume there is a lot more than a C7 and other fixes in the update. Tracks are usually around 100Mb each themselves.

3 hours right?

Correct. Well, 2hrs 49mins as of this second.

Perhaps that mountain the NSX is on is an updated version of the grand canyon photomode location from GT4.
Excuse me if someone already said this.

it would be cool to see that stuff in GT5! but i've the feeling we'll see it first in GT6

I think i died and went to heaven, hopefully this dream never stops! Now he should add SSR11, that's a treat for me

That is when it starts right? Would a patch be at the start or end of maintenance? You may want to add two hours to that number to avoid disappointment.

Maintenance starts in 37 minutes and ends two hours later. Then we download a patch which will take ages so probable no chance of me taking the C7 around the Nurburgring today.

No, maintenance starts in 37 minutes, for two hours.

I don't think we Europeans have any chance because the store doesn't update until tomorrow for us. We can download it in the update but we won't be able to download the unlock key from the store until tomorrow.

Okay, here's what's gonna happen.
We're getting a FREE AMERICAN DLC Car. Not to mention a brand new 2014 Corvette.

Best case scenario: New update tonight brings more than just the C7

Worst case scenario: we get just one new free car tonight.

We may get the NSX, we may not, we may get all this new amazing crap, we're probably not.

So don't get pissed when you don't get it.

Sincerely,

All the sane members of GTP.
