A few thoughts on the new update.

A new track.. a NEW TRACK, a new FREE track. And by the looks of it, pretty nice as well.
A new car, the Supra GR3.

Early impressions, it is slower around Nurburgring than the M6 with BoP enabled, feels a bit rear happy. The sound is nothing special which imho always is disappointing. And i honestly never liked the Center placed exhausts, but besides that it looks pretty cool.

I like the Penalty Indicator over the drivers, very nice touch.

Not super thrilled that this is the whole april's update but gotta take what they give regardless. I need to try the new track but they haven't dissapointed with different layouts etc (Lago Maggiore West, Infield all amazing).
I think it's tough to be excited for a similar looking car to the ft1, i know why it looks like that but still...

I guess i am too used with the good ol Castrol Supra

Gave the new Dragon Trail track a quick test. It feels like it's meant to cover the slower car classes that would be out of place in the other layout. Some sections work for me but I don't really care for that middle portion. It doesn't flow that well and for me, that's what I like to have. Strangely enough, that final section with the walls around both sides was reminding me of Red Rock Valley Speedway for some reason.

I agree the new circuit doesn't flow in the middle (feels like it was squeezed into a area that was too restrictive) but its a fun circuit and its NEW :D.

Tsukuba Circuit Experience - another relatively easy gold

Part 2

Part 3

And something extra...

I'm happy to see the Supra is a Gr.3 car, so I bought it and I can now use the Audi e-tron in GT League Vision Gran Turismo Trophy +, the other Audi VGT can be used in GT League Vision Gran Turismo Trophy. If I was racing online I would be looking forward to the Nürburgring live event :), so this update turned out to be better than I expected :D.

The new events is the winner if single play is your bent. The new track is ok... I think it drives better than Tsukuba.

The car is ok and the smattering of new scapes and features, volumes. If this keeps up every month then yeah, this is a winner.

I think Forza 7 has wound up its 6 months DLC so we'll see where this goes but the so much content every month for GTS is really great.

The title of the update says "Adding a Revamped 'Sport' Mode"

Edit: Tree'd
???? Where is it??? That "Revamping"???? In somebody´s imagination.. perhaps...

Let see what they mean with revamped sport mode
This looks almost like a promess made by a Politician on Election days...

Does anyone know yet if the penalty system has been changed at all?

It wasn´t.. but if it was.. it can only be worst... then before...

Pleased for the update.

New circuit is always good, new scapes too... and a BMW location! Yay! I've got quite a few GT league events to catch up on now too.

This really does seem to cement the notion that all the Original circuits will be getting new layouts, so it seems reasonable to think that Alsace and maybe the dirt circuits are still due an upgrade in future.

It's great that they're fleshing out all aspects of the game in this way - but, I still find myself feeling like they're making up for how limited the launch product was, which does take some of the happiness out of it for me.

That's what I fear... hoping someone can make this Friday a really happy one with some good news...

Seen a couple of people say nothing has changed and I would think they'd announce it if it had but who knows.

Did one race C and penalties seem less harsh to me, I'm still stuck in DR A at the moment though so I don't know how it is for S
